We tried and we can't get insurance for our meets. Our lawyers explained that if a Real Estate Agent knows a huge comet is going to wipe out an entire tract of homes in a week, and has buyers sign disclaimers then closes on sales, the disclaimers are invalid because the Real Estate Agent knew the homes would be destroyed.

yeah, just look at the Norwegian runners dying left and right.
Poor Ingebrigtsens all gone after running in competitions for the past month or so.
Underwriters write policies to make money for their employers. If you can't find a single underwriter who will insure your race what does that tell you? Do you want to send your little angel to run in that race (no matter how old she is now)?
Is that true? We need corroborating research.
