For someone looking to run in the 1:15-1:20 HM range what would a Tinman Half Marathon buildup look like?
There seems to be a large fan base for the Tinman 5k-Marathon training on Letsrun, but also many critics. Mainly, it seems that the critics are criticizing the seeming absence of "true peaking", while the actual Tinman athletes claim it allows them to feel fresh year round. The philosophy of not attempting any "see god" type of workouts intrigues me, as well as the lack of race pace work (in Tinman marathon training), but would both these principals apply to the half marathon? Does anyone have experience with the Tinman training philosophy and workouts over Half Marathon?
