So i am 17 yo and a big time slow twitch guy. I lead my team during LR’s and tempo’s and love mileage. My mile, two mile and 5k pr’s are almost the same paces (with plenty of speedwork and strides). My coach already told me I’m gonna be a marathon and up type guy and gives me the highest mileage of the team. I love longer races, runs and workouts. I kinda wanna become an ultrarunner.
How should i go about the progression to ultras? 5-10ks till 22, then marathons till 25 and then ultras? What would you guys say? Appreciate y’all
