Out of the three...
Fisher is the most physically talented.
Drew is the most disciplined and focused.
Knight has the advantage of easily making teams.
Fisher will likely have the best 5k PR by the end of his career out of the three, and will consistently make more teams than Drew. I think he we medal in a major championship for sure. I would say he would have the best 1500m time too, and I think 1500m is his best event, but his mindset is prob in the 5k, especially in Jerry's group. They are completely different events. Jerry's program and his Stanford homies make for the perfect environment for him.
Drew is a true student of the sport. His vibe with Tinman is great. But he is a little injury prone, so he needs to find a good spot in terms of balancing training and intensity. He still has at least another decade in him, so he is still learning that. I also think that we have not seen Drew's TRUE talent show yet. He had tremendous momentum his senior year of high school, but thank God he got Lyme, because he could have easily ran 3:53...just like Webb, and dug himself in a bad hole. His last three/four years as a pro have been great, but we will see some big performances from him soon, especially indoors. Drew will move to the 5k in 2024, and run about 13:00. Whereas I feel like Grant is somewhere around 12:55.
Knight will inch his way closer to 13:00 and 7:35 in the 5k and 3k. Making teams is easier in Canada, so he can save a lot for the championship racing. He has a good head on his shoulders, but I think he is still finding his groove in post-grad. Knight was on fire in college, especially considering the amount of training he was doing. I feel like it is just a testament to his racing skills. Definitely resembles Farah's confidence in race settings. His season consistency will also resemble that of Centro, where he needs time to build race confidence to really put together a good effort in the championship season. However, I think he maybe needs to make a geographical switch to a more central running hub like Flag in a couple years.
