12:37.35, bring it on!!
Sweet source bro.
Thank you
Are kejelcha and barega running it? Are they gonna do it at like 9:30pm so it’s cooler than 75 degrees?
21:45 main event
Very cool. Wonder if Kenny is gonna watch it and see Chep come up short. No disrespect, but I don't think this record is going to be broken quite yet...
Sick
You never know if you never try, he's got balls surely.

It's all about the shoes.
Finally something interesting to happen in track and field!!!! Much better than the Ingebringtsen circus.
I don't think that he will get it. It would be extremely strong if he pulls 12:45.

Unfortunately, it isn't.

I'm sorry this is no more interesting. We need to see races which are head to heads.
Would anyone really want to watch a paced parade round to 12:35 for one athlete? I'd much rather watch Barega, Kejelcha, Cheptegei, Edris, Mead, Jakob all running for 12:37.
Sorry, it's not a circus, i don't believe that if other world class athletes as those states above want to go for it with Joshua, the organisers would turn them down.
If they won't be there in the race for glory it just means they are not ready for it and don't want to crack really bad. The record would be incredibly lucrative for anyone, in later contracts and appearance fees, so, it's not about the lack of money or motivation..just a lack of fitness and confidence from others!

Yes. I don't understand why anyone wouldn't.

What are you talking about? He's gonna wear spikes. Nobody wears VFs on the track?

Why is that unfortunate? Dafuq? You WANT the achievements to be all about "the shoes" and not the runners themselves?!?!
Pretty accurate in my opinion too.
Will be very interesting to see if they use the wavelight technology again, and who will the pacemakers, as they will have a historic task.
The path for Joshua in the near future is very clear if the situation allows :
5000m WR attempt - August
Half Marathon Champs - October
10k Valencia WR attempt - January
10000m WR attempt - June
Tokyo Olympics double 5000-10000m - July/August
