The name for this is mental toughness. Has not much to do with how many long runs you did. More that you keep working at it while it gets a little tougher and the legs are heavy. That is what separates the men from the boys in ultrarunning, everybody has issues at one point but some don't get distracted by it. But a 6 hour race is too short for that. This kind of fun starts a little after that.
