Satire? I’m gonna give it a 4 out of 10.
This is classic Trump 101. Right now, everyone is freaking out because COVID 19 is roaring back while Europe have successfully beaten the virus back. Trump has absolutely no response to that other than to have people flat out lie about what is happening. So, he is going to do everything he can to change the subject to one of his red meat issues (culture wars, immigration, etc.). That is why he tweeted out the video of white power grandpa. Now, everyone is debating whether this was intentional or accidental, whether Trump really is a crypto-white supremacists our just a dope who didn't watch the video he posted. And it works because Trump knows the media and knows that they are going to run with this in a big way and push aside coverage of the coronavirus. That actually helps Trump in a big way.
So what's worse?
Our president is encouraging (and some would say actively practicing) blatantly racist behavior, or a man in charge of making hard decisions on a daily basis that directly impact hundreds of millions of lives "missed" that very important detail?

Close enough, Dougie Burke and Barty Maxwell are the two most prolific day drinkers to post here.
You discuss things in a very childish way and lack any objectivity. The event, for purposes of Occam's Razor, is NOT a tweet containing a "white power" reference, where Trump was notified of or already knew of the reference, and not only kept the tweet up, but proceeded to publicly defended it. That would indicate he "meant to post it."
The event, for purposes of Occam's Razor, is a tweet made at 8AM that contains a "white power" reference that would be extremely damaging to ANY political campaign (even David Duke's), that Trump deleted three hours later (11AM), which was then disclaimed by his staff at the White House as a mistake, and also disclaimed by the group in the video (the Villages). The assumptions leading to your complicated hypothesis as to why Trump would have strategically behaved that way are many and far-fetched - basically he searched for and found a "white power" video (or at least stumbled across it), then chose a three hour window to tweet it in an attempt to appeal to some hypothetical and small number of "white power" supporters among his base (although he never points out the "white power" reference in the tweet), and does this despite knowing the risk of losing an enormous amount of actual and real supporters in the ensuing 48 hour all negative new cycle, which are the type of thing he clearly wants to avoid.
The much more likely hypothesis, with much less built in assumptions and less far-fetched and extreme ones, is that he made the tweet by mistake not realizing the "white power" reference, was notified of it and took the tweet down three hours later, and had his staff issue immediate disclaimers saying it was a mistake and that Trump never heard the "white power" reference.
That's how Occam's Razor actually works. Don't needlessly multiply assumptions where one will do, Magoo.
So, to summarize the bit where to try too hard to make yourself sound smart - you are rolling with the theory that the President does not view or listen to items that he posts to millions and millions of people. That’s somehow “better” to you?
I'm not sure what you mean by "better." If you mean a more plausible theory with less far-fetched assumptions, then yes I think it's "better" in this instance with this set of facts. That's what I took the time to try and explain.
If you mean or are implying something else by "better" (or "'better' to you") then I'm unclear what you are asking.
What theory are you rolling with as to why Trump posted that to "millions and millions of people"?

Incompetence.
It would be somewhat believable he simply made a mistake if this was the first such incident. However, there have been too many to even recall:
Altered “racist” toddler video
Failing to disavow long-time Klan leader David Duke
Retweet of a far-right group’s anti-Muslim video
Failing to call out Senator Steve King’s “white nationalist” comment
There are “good people” on both sides
Portraying Central American asylum seekers as mostly hardened criminals
Portraying Mexican immigrants as rapists and murderers
Referring to covid-19 as the Kung flu
Claiming Obama was born in Kenya (even if he was he would still be born an American citizen by virtue of his mother’s citizenship)
You are going to great lengths to deny that Trump may have actually seen the “white power” comments in the video and sent it out anyway, knowing that it would not really make any difference.
The truth is that even if Trump intended to post the video it will not cost him any votes. People have come to terms with who he is one way or another. Many of his voters may not agree with his racist tone at times but their hatred for liberals runs much deeper. Trump believes that many American fear BLM much more than they may uncomfortable with his racist references. And he is probably right.

I haven't really set forth a theory, much less twisted anything to support one. I merely said that there may be more reasonable explanations for Trump tweeting a "white power" video other than he decided to do it deliberately. I'm still betting you could list at least 2 other explanations for that tweet by Trump, other than the one you claim to be 100% convinced about.
Now kindly save us from your nonsense.

No. I'd say you're voting for a White Supremacist. People can vote however they want, but they can no longer reasonably claim they aren't supporting a white supremacist when they vote for Trump. That's been shown beyond all reasonable doubt.
People are getting desperate. Really grasping for straws. Trying hard to get trump out of office. Yall need to watch the Calm Down video by Taylor Swift and look in the mirror.
I'm prepared mentally if trump loses in November. However, this begs the question: are you prepared for when he is re-elected? Threads like these, articles like these, comments like these demonstrate that people are not ready for 4 more years!
Wait, the guy who supports scumbag Salazar also supports scumbag Trump?! I'm shocked.

Why are you going to vote for a White Supremacist?

How about Trump is a racist moron, and tweets what he approves of? He doesn't think further than that - although thinking isn't the term I would tend to use for Trump. Screw "Occam's Razor" - pretentious twaddle.

Why should people be "ready" for what they don't acquiesce to? Stupid comment.
It will cost him votes outside his fanatic core - and without those votes he has no chance of being re-elected.

You have had white supremacy for 400 years.
This was a win-win for Trump. Loud whistle to his racist supporters, but also a distraction from the news that he knew about his pal Putin paying incentives to the Taliban for killing US military, and that Trump did nothing about it and continued his cozy relationship with his Russian puppet-master.
