More respectable week for me ~ 36.4 miles. Feels more like a 40-45 mile week because the trails either slow me down a lot OR it's GPS error.
M: 5.23 @ 8:52 ( Windy, Hilly Trails)
T: 6.1 ft. 10x400 with 90" rest (82 -> 74 avg. 77). Some wind on the closing 200 meters each rep.
W: 5.4 very easy trails
TH: 5.3 easy again
FR: 3 easy on Trails again
SAT: 1000m Time Trial in 3:00.4. Good check-in on my fitness on a very hot (~80) and humid day. I didn't really have gears here, I went out at 34ish and didn't die or anything. I felt OK at 600 and 800, but couldn't really summon much for a kick ~ I picked it up a little. Felt much better in the Streak LTs tho, no lower leg pain. I was in really good shape when I ran my mile TT at a similar pace a while back (4:48.1), but also had a tailwind, a slightly downhill course and the Next %s. On the positive, I wasn't particularly sore or tired after this effort. I think I can go faster, and I'm feeling better on a day-to-day basis than I did before I dialed back training about a month ago.
SUN: 7.5 on trails (65 minutes). This ran more like 8 miles. Felt solid even in the heat.
Encouraged that I felt great after the TT, and then am feeling better on runs. Tuesday was tough, but my body naturally made it a nice progression.
I'm out here for a couple more weeks, and definitely going to keep picking up training and time trialing!
