my training has been sporadic
my first track and xc season ive done about 30 miles of hard running. there was a point in there where i did tempos everyday, i improved from it
then, going into the next xc season i was usually doing 40-60 mpw. the training was sporadic. i threw in two or three 80 mile weeks. i neglected fast stuff which i think was a big mistake. xc season was usually 40-50 and my performances were very up and down
i skipped the track season bc my ability was regressing.
ive been training since school has been out and do 50-70 with real workouts and i have felt much better, but my workout times all have been the same.
i would think that with the more miles ive ran, and consistent workouts for a few months, my workouts should just be getting better and better but they are stagnate.
