Protestors on the street are immune, but people who go to a Trump rally or the Republican convention are in mortal danger. It's incredibly dangerous in small businesses and barber shops, but huge retailers like Wal Mart and Lowes remain open because apparently the virus avoids them. Churches are particularly dangerous, unless a funeral for BLM icon is taking place in one, then the virus skips it as well.
That’s all pretty weird and all but I’d contend that the weirdest thing about COVID is the fact that it’s killed 120,000 people in this country alone (still climbing!). I mean, we’ve literally never seen anything like it. And despite this, there are still people that think not to trust the scientists, researchers and doctors who have been studying to prepare for something like this their entire lives and instead turn to social media or cable news for advice.
Weirder still is that people expect these professionals to be right all of the time, despite the fact that, again, there has literally never been anything like this.
Even MORE insane is that people still refuse to wear masks indoors, when data has conclusively shown that it is incredibly effective and requires almost zero effort at all!
Also weird: The fact that our President literally dissolved our Pandemic Task Force, threw out the pandemic manual from the previous administration, refuses to wear a mask because he thinks it makes him look weak and now acts as if there is no pandemic at all, despite the fact that the U.S. accounts for 30%+ of the World’s cases despite having only 5% of the World’s population.
But yeah, you are right about it being weird!
