I don't want to start a trillion threads because I am quite aware how many threads like this that there are out there. But, I am a 17 year old male 129lbs 5'9 going into my freshman year of college next year. I wouldn't say I'm fast but I'm not slow: 15:52 5k in cross country, 26:57 8K and 1:13 half marathon. I am somewhere in between a mesomorph and an endomorph build. That being said I hate my body. Im so insecure about the way I look. I looked normal when I had muscle but since I've begun upping my mileage I now have no upper body muscle but body fat in my upper body. I can see like a 4 pack in my upper abs but my lower stomach has either loose skin or some body fat I'm not sure what it is. I don't understand how this is possible as I eat 1300-1500 calories a day while running 50-70 mpw. Ive been doing this since march and have seen a dip in my weight from 135 to 129 but my weight has been steadily holding at 129 and I don't seem to be getting any leaner. I don't want to look like the fat kid on the team when I go to college next year so I am not sure what to do. I've been told if I up my calories ill get abs or at least more muscle in my stomach but I feel that when I have days where I eat 2000+ calories I just get bloated and my stomach looks even worse. I do an ab routine every day but it doesn't seem to do much. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
