Yes, the comeback is on ! Now I try to run/ walk almost every day . I have still a good clip in my stride and even if my shape isn`t so good now I don`t feel my age so much.
The goal to try break the 5000m/ 10000m world records in age group 60-64 has become more difficult when a Japanese has got the records down to 15:56 and 33:39. He is born 1960 in July so just 1 year younger than me. Well......I want and will make a try. If doesn`t succeed I try for the 65 age group records. To run 15:55 and 33:00 I need to run maxVO2 20 X 400m at 76 sec and LT intervals at 3:26 min/ km and easy steady runs at 4:35 min / km . We will see, it feels I still have it in my body. Not a mission impossible. I like big challanges..... :)
