Hello dear friends, i am 20 years old runner with following PB´s: 1500 m - 4:33, 3000 m - 9:22, 5000 m - 16:04 (out of the track)/16:29 (on the track), 10 000 m - 34:16. I have trained really lot during the coronavirus lockdown (3 months), i did cycle of 4 weeks, where week 1 - 150 km, more tempo, week 2 - 110 km, higher intensity, week 3 - 150 km, more tempo, week 4 - 60 km + crosstraining, recovery week. I did tempo runs like for example 11 km - 3:38/km, track sessions like 5x (5x 200 m - 34,30,34,30,34; 100 m jog between) or 10 x 600 m - 1:51, 200 m jog between, i also did long runs like 25 km in 4:15/km, and i also forgot to mention longer reps like 5x 2 km in 6:40. I think i never trained that hard and consistently before, but the only f.ckin´ result is yesterdays 3000 m in 9:34. I am so sad because of that. Everyone around me just trains a little for 2 months a goes sub 9 minutes 3 k and I am still stuck. Actually during the last 5 years my time did not drop at all. Yesterday i also measured my weight and i was 66 kgs. The truth is that i usually had 63. :( I think i will force myself to loose some weight. Except of that, do you guys have any suggestions how to break this? I feel like i am comfortable in the training but during the 3k race i run the first 1 k in 2:59, than my 1500 m is 4:37, 2000 m - 6:17 and i end up with 9:34. :( Thanks in advance.
