Hey all. About a week ago the side of my knee felt a bit strange before and after my run. I've had issues with my IT band on the same leg so I'm pretty sure that's what it is. A few days later I felt a sharp pain a few hours after my run and it hurt to walk. I'm currently taking time off from running and taking ibuprofen twice a day, stretching, rolling out, taking Epsom salt baths and doing Jay Johnson's Strength and Mobility routine. The first day off my knee felt great, yet it's only getting worse. Its gone from feeling normal to a constant full and aching pain in the lateral side of my knee. Granted, I did a good amount of swimming/outdoor activities yesterday and did a lot of yard work today so I'm wondering if that may be it. Any thoughts as to how to help deal with this and get myself back to running as soon as I can?
