1) My post was in response to someone who mentioned both BTC/American runners. Ahmed isn’t American so he’s not part of my analysis.
2) Jakob is not my hero. If anything, he’s one of my least favorite runners. I think the Norwegian brothers are sketchy. Cute of you to let my criticism of BTC immediately turn on your “patriotism”.
3) This is a 1500/2k, not a 5k which makes Kincaid (never broken 3:37), Fischer (3:39 PR) and Hill (hasn’t broken 3:37 since 2016) irrelevant. Jager is also irrelevant until he puts out a performance (hasnt broken 3:37 since 2015).
4) Lopez Lomong is a national treasure and an incredible human whose body defies the laws of physics. He’s an inspiration to all. That said, he’s getting crushed over 1500/2k by the Norwegian brothers.
5) Doing further research, Josh Thompson is on BTC and one of my favorite emerging runners. Probably one of the most impacted by the delaying of the Olympics. He would have made the American 1500 team this year based on his indoor performances.
6) With all that said, I still believe only Centro and Thompson would be worthy opponents for the Norwegians brothers. If Jager pops in with 2015 form, they’d have a great shot, but that’s still an entire team of pros versus a single family...
7) It’s cute of you to lash out at me and my intelligence because you disagree with me, but you came in with lame facts and poor reasoning. Maybe you’re intelligent, but you clearly haven’t shown that. I’ll take my “kinda”, my logic, and my professional degrees over whatever you think you have over there.
