Why isn't anyone giving Symmonds a hard time about his lack of basic hygiene precautions for COVID-19? It's almost as if he is deliberately shaking hands and not social distancing. I see all kinds of negative comments about whether schools should have XC this year and whether AAU should be having the Junior Olympics in Florida, why does Symmonds get a pass from the scrutiny? I think this is extremely irresponsible!
This is Oregon. The weed smoke is so think in the atmosphere that Covid19 can't survive. Simple exist in Oregon, wash hands frequently, don't touch your face, and you're good.

I am convinced most LR threads critical of Symmonds are posted by Symmonds himself to pump SM hits.... and it works... just watched the whole 10 minute "infomercial".
By my count, there are only 22 individuals in that video (including the camera operator and people walking around the track). As of June 8, Lane County was in Phase 1 re-opening protocol and able to have gatherings of 25 people or less. Masks are not mandated. No violation.
Because he has no symptoms.

The relaxing of orders to open things up still requires social distancing and proper precautions. Shaking hands with everyone there and everything else he was doing is not what is supposed to be happening. It's irresponsible. Gatherings are allowed "with social distancing in place."
