Agreed. It's crazy, his backyard setup. He's only two or three steps from Standing Pole Vault.
I didn't realize the 600m was in lanes the whole way around...

That stagger must be wrong...
Should run the 800 that way.
But duplantis just makes those clearances look so easy

Please no
Why hasn't it been run that way?
Doesn't that make the distance equal for everybody
Amalie Iuel (former USC) will run 300m hurdles, and has found love with legend Aksel Lund Svindal (multiple alpine WC and Olympics Champion)

Lavillenie can't go any higher, that runup is to short to gain any reasonable momentum
Not a bad WR by Warholm!

Wow, that run (or rather jumping) into the firs hurdle!
Amazing record too.
33.78! Warholm.
What does this mean for the 400H?
He started like he was attempting a long jump
That's a strange way to start but was still effective
Insane run, WR coming up for him at 400. Now the highlight with Ingebrigtsen vs Cheruiyot

He runs so different to the rest but such a machine, think 400mH WR must be an achievable target soon as well
Warholm's performance was impressive all by himself. Can you even set a world record with no one else in the race? In any case, 33.78 (better than 11.3/100m or about 45 seconds/400m). Very solid. I'd guess that is equivalent to mid 47, but who knows with the speed endurance at this stage--the last 100m is by far the toughest in the longer race.
Wow, very wet in Nairobi
Does he always run to the first hurdle like that?
