Nick Symmonds, 1:42.95/3:34
Alan Webb 1:43.84/3:30.54(?)/3:46.91/13:10/27:34
Jim Spivey 3:31/3:49
Henry Rono 7:32 3k WR/8:05.4 steeple WR/13:06 5000m WR
Jose' Parilla 1:43.97 posted here, I think.
Steve Jones, 1:00:59/2:07:13 (jones'y)
I'd think there have been a few top Kenyans posting here over the years.
**Drew Ryun, Jim Ryun's son posted here as well.
**Seb Coe gave interviews to the site, but apparently did not contribute to the various Ventolin/DeanOUK debates.
Nick Willis posted about his 400 speed
I see a lot of pros here but do they post regularly or did they make a one time appearance?

Steve Jones never posted here.
Kevin Sullivan
How is malmo not on this list? He posts here all the time.
George Malley 1:01:43/2:12:23. In addition to 3:40.21/4:00.5
What distance?
You are leaving off Malmo's first claim to fame - his near AR in the steeple 8:21 something.
Malmo is definitely accomplished. However, everyone on the list is faster. Are there runners between those listed and Malmo? Probably. I think Craig Virgin posted here once or twice.
I'm not saying Malmo does not deserve mention. He does, but he's not the first name I think of. He is much more prolific of a poster than those others, however.
Deena Castor posted promptly and answered basically everyone’s questions in that QA thread the other month.

Near AR? No, I set the AR in the steeple in 1977 (8:22 my best race ever), I missed taking back the steeple AR in 1'78 by 0.01s (8:21, my worst race ever). I also set the WB in the 12k (low hanging fruit) , the #2 US 15k, #2 US 10 mile., and of course the HM AR.
You're right, I wouldn't have include myself on that list of 1000.
Ooops, wrong thread. I thought I was responding to the 1000 names thread.

Yes, he has, many times in fact.

I believe you, I just can’t find where he did

Gene Dykes also.
Craig Virgin posted a bunch on two occasions I think he's one of my favorite pros ever. Didn't Jim Ryun also post here on the same thread Deena did? Sure there are people here that have posted and are faster than Malmo but I believe Malmo is the fastest regular.
Patti Catalano is on here from time to time. I'd consider her a true LetsRunner.

That would be Henry Rono.
I think this is obviously correct. But with all the other names tossed around, I’m surprised no one has mentioned Gerry Lindgren.
