Guys and gals I am moving in less than 7 days to North Carolina!!!
My running has been lackluster the least since I started taking on a full time 5 day work routine. Add in the 2 hour commute getting up at 4 to run in the cold my running eventually busted.
I gained significant amount of weight. I noticed various health issues concerned about with my weight swollen feet, migraines, and few other things.
Now that I am less than 10 miles away from work, working 3 nights a week, lots of places to run/trails, boat load of races, lots of LRS near by, a gym at the complex living at, and 2 running clubs in the area about to be like a phoniex & rise.
Started my journey to my goal race in November to run a half with my dad in Charlotte. Right now schedule is a bit hectic with the move and finishing work up. So running 4 days this week. Going to do 3 2 miles and 1 3 mile run. Next week plan to do 2 3 mile runs, the week after 3 3 mile runs, and following it with 4 3 mile runs. Then from there going to do 3 3 mile runs and bump my long run up by 1 mild every week. Then the 4th week bump it down to 3 miles.
Once I reach 8 miles will bump the 3 three mile runs to 4 miles runs.
Once I hit 12 miles plan to do 2 6 miles runs a 3 mile run, and my LR.
Goal for the race is to have my LR be at 20 miles and my goal finish time of 2 hours.
