So what? Covid isn't a death sentence. Mortality rate the same as the flu.
Covid? I attended a protest with 10,000 people and then went to football practice the next morning with 100 teammates. If we can't have football, what will happen to our protests?
Any of the sick?
I found several articles about the players testing positive.
Not one addressed whether or not any were sick.
Which makes me suspect none are
This good news for Bama, they will build team immunity before the season starts and not have to worry about the virus in season.

It's about who they come in contact with who isn't a young athlete.

Yep. Great news for the players. They are going to build their immune system by being exposed to viruses just as humans have done daily for thousands of years. Hopefully it pays dividends for them when they're older and actually at risk from viruses and not 19 year old kids who this poses next to 0 risk to.
CDC says it's a no go.
The only thing rednecks hate more than black people (or gay/trans people or women) is not having football on 4 nights a week. Football will happen, or else they'll be marching in the street.

Suicide, alcoholism, depression drug overdoses as a result of the lockdown?
Its' the Kids and Moms and Pops that will die by the thousands when players infect them after practice.

Doctors advised the players and that they would have to be clinically separated from their for 3 months.
Doctors advised that the quarantine group would number on the order of 200 persons per team or 6000 people, which includes the coaches, stadium crews, trainers, doctors, drivers, airline pilots, flight attendants, janitors, truck drivers, etc.
It just became too ridiculous.

Exactly. F*ckin' idiots who let others think for them and can't take a few hours to do their own independent research when they have nothing but time on their hands. Just believe the media hyenas who make their fortunes manipulating human behavior and selling cheap sh*t.
the Bundesliga restart says otherwise...it looked doubtful initially, with a similar batch of positive tests but strict testing/contingency measures and minimal staff in stands has made for a successful restart...
College football will be a go; no fans to start though....surprised at all of the negative Nancys-not like the season is starting in 2 weeks time...

the NFL would be a lot more entertaining if players would randomly collapse on the field

It's a fight over money. If it wasn't the players would be in there.
