the zante isn't really that durable...you just haven't noticed the change because it's a pretty unsubstantial shoe to start with. nothing wrong with that though if you're staying healthy.
the simple answer at this point is to look online for the zante pursuit. going rate is about $60-70 bucks right now if you can find it in your size.
the replacement shoe by new balance is the NB Tempo. basically a standard traditional lightweight trainer, much like earlier Zante models.
other options would be the new NB 890 (just avoid last year's model) with new fuelcell midsole.
check out the fuelcell echo too. I haven't tried it but it looks cool and simple enough. not that light though at 10oz
