Hello LetsRun. We've received a note from some friends in the UK. The Covid-19 lockdown is getting tiresome so they are looking to spice things up with an international virtual competition. Details below.

Remember the old high school 2 mile postal? 2 mile team time trial after XC season.
Great idea. Let's kick some a$$.
(Not me of course, I'm to old and slow, but let's get some of those $200k, sub 14:30, hot wife guys to participate!).
Thanks for sharing, Rojo...
Looking forward to (virtually) racing some of Let’s Run’s fastest...
Shame it’s only England’s bunch of toffs playing in south London laying down the gauntlet. You yanks give us a bell when you want a reel challenge
Don’t worry, we’ll let you play too...
Also, what’s fishing got to do with anything?
Wait, the British celebrate American Independence Day?
Bring it on...

nah, they want revenge
This sounds awesome, but don't think it's going to be a cake walk. Dem Brits can run.

Why not. We also celebrate American Police brutality as well it would appear.
Twitter, etc has consumed British independence.
I challenge those nasty gobbed brits to a brushing and flossing contest.
Their advantage: They usually only have two or three teeth.
My advantages: I already have all the equipment and my 32 sparkling white teeth prove my experience.
Landfill sums this one up:
Hello all,
We've had a couple of responses from teams in the US, one in Australia and we're in contact with some clubs in Asia...
However, we realised that we might be counting out all of the great solo runners out there, so if you want to run under the banner of Let's Runners International (or something similar), I've created a form here:
https://forms.gle/Gd4fdEGksnsAPM7SA
Let us know and we'll put you in a team with others and also put you in touch with them for communications during the race.

What is this, letsfish.com?
Famed for being in the wrong cross country league.
Yes, we said that already...
Hi all,
I run the platform this is being hosted on. If TrackFan888 can get in touch, we'd be happy to streamline the setup of clubs from all over the world who fancy a good scrap. Can't wait to see those cocky Kent guys sent packing back to their own corner of the country ;-)
Anyone over 35 can also have fun running for their country in official European Masters Virtual Challenges - one race per month, 10k this time, building up to the (hopefully rescheduled) road festival in virus-free Madeira in October.

No need to declare teams, if you get 3 M50s from USA / AUS etc then that's a team. And an age-adjusted 12-to-score across all entries. Happy to work out continent-level scoring if we get enough entries ;-)
