4:06 Great job,
Hey guys, if it's 81° then it's 81° in the shade. -
Where is that track?
-
It's a shame it's vertical video. Considering the camera sensor is 4:3 I don't understand why the recording is limited to the screen's dimensions. Just crop it to watch vertical with software on the phone.
Anyway, great race! I couldn't run that with shorts and perfect training. -
This might be my second favorite gimmick race after Fam's dog-assisted sub-4 mile. Gregorek will never have to wonder whether he can outrun the cops in street clothes!
-
what a beautiful and uplifting thing.
I needed that. -
I don't feel you mean gimmick, it was a fundraising run for an excellent and honorable cause.
I knew Johnny's parents, Chris and John, back in their day. Fine people. I was saddened when I heard the news of their loss.
Deep respect for those who honor the loss of loved ones is the proper action from all. -
Should have run in non-running sneakers instead of spikes.

I think they just mean the event in general -- it's like the beer mile or slow mile. I hope that we can agree, even on LRC, that raising $30k for mental health is a good thing.
FWIW, I know the family as well. Couldn't find a nicer group of people. Also, I really wonder what the conversion is here. 4:06 in jeans is moving! -

Agreed, Chuck Taylor high tops. -
it's not too far out from nyc. it's in Dobbs Ferry
-
Good for him, great story.
-
Agree. Very touching and fun, a nice tribute.
Donate folks! -
Did he doe it in stretchy pants or old school levi's denim?
Stretchy pants are worth a second per lap. -
