She is a great girl, we get along super well, she is mindful and never stirs up pointless drama, but I've started to think about what she would be like as a mother, and I am pretty turned off by it. She is a very compassionate and loving person, but I think she's too much this way. She has multiple animals and overfeeds them all because she "doesn't want them to ever feel hungry." Her dog is 90s and probably 15 pounds overweight, and she says he needs to eat more. Furthermore, she feeds the local squirrel, and instead of just giving it a nut or two (or three or 10), she dumps entire handfuls in front of it giving it an amount of food that's probably more than 10% of its body weight. I've told her she doesn't need to feed it that much and that by giving it that much food she's training it to never forage on its own, but she just keeps wanting to feed it more.
This might all sound kind of trivial, and it is if we are just dating, but I'm looking into the future and thinking if she was a mother, she would probably be one of those hyper-loving, overbearing moms that never wants their child to ever experience any pain or discomfort at all, would feed them sweets all the time so they'd be obese, and subconsciously handicap them so they would never grow up into independent adults. The whole thing has really turned me off as for viewing her as a long term SO. But maybe I'm overreacting? What do you think?
