You can call these transgender athletes women, but they are not female. This is not debatable, it's a fact. Female has a biological definition that can not be used to classify these transgender women.
You can not re-define precise words for the purposes of self-identification. You can't arbitrarily identify as 6'-10", or as a dolphin, or as a 12 year old.
People are defying basic logic by twisting language and redefining words to fit their beliefs. Can a 30 year old identify as an 18 year old and compete as a junior? If not, then why can a male identify as a female to compete against other females?
“Connecticut law is clear and students who identify as female are to be recognized as female for all purposes — including high school sports,” the athletic conference said in a statement.
“When I use a word,’ Humpty Dumpty said in rather a scornful tone, ‘it means just what I choose it to mean — neither more nor less.’
’The question is,’ said Alice, ‘whether you can make words mean so many different things.’
’The question is,’ said Humpty Dumpty, ‘which is to be master — that’s all.”
Humpty Dumpty presents an accurate description of the liberal mindset.
