He should storm and dismantle all the taxpayer funded sports stadiums in MSP! Funny how all those got built after the state legislature drove out Jesse V.

For a man that had a platform and an opportunity to create positive change he failed miserably.
Revolting will do nothing good. It is simply ridiculous to think violence is the answer.

Well, he seems to have done a good enough job - nincompoops like you and can't help but amplify his message.
"Look right here what Colin Kaepernick said! Listen listen listen! No stop don't agree with him!" - you, a nincompoop.

Yeah....when has violent revolt ever done anything good for this country.....well....I mean..besides create it.
The fact that there is now a post up on a conservative running board every time there is a nationally prominent police killing is due in large part to Kaepernick. He helped shine the national spotlight on these incidents and in the case of the Arbery shooting that was the primary reason the killer is standing trial. They had gotten away with it until it became a national story. He's a big part of why it became a national story.
Police who commit unlawful, immoral and unnecessary violence have more doubt that they will get away with it than before. That is huge. He didn't do it single-handedly, but he was a large part of it.
This is positive change.
So he's against a police killing a criminal, but not against criminals killing cops, or other people, including children? What did he post about the murders in Chicago last weekend?
Kaepernick's tweet is saying if faced with state violence then it's rational to react with violence. This doesn't mean it's advisable as there may be other solutions which achieve the same goal. And he doesn't have to comment on every murder that happens, nonetheless the circumstances are different.
As another poster pointed out the United States was founded on liberal revolutionaries rebelling against state violence. I though the Trumpers would have been out in force defending these protests. What with them being anti-government n'all.
lol....is he supposed to post about every single problem in the country now? he didn't post about high blood pressure either. Did that trigger you as well?
if you somehow have twisted his stance against police violence into 'he supports criminals killing children'....you are obviously operating in the realm beyond rational thought. Good luck to you and get help.
What happened to Floyd is "revolting" - but so is Kaepernick's comment here. This ensorses the arson, violence, looting, rioting, and similar lawless behaviour taking place. It's not helping him or the cause.

Sounds like you can’t handle the fact that Kap majorly contributed to a positive change in the US.
He should say, "Don't return Violence for Violence" in respect for Dr. Martin Luther King.
Peace Out,

Kaepernick gave a big donation to an abortion provider. Here in NYC, a newly conceived black human being is more likely to be aborted than to be born. As I read Kaepernick’s actions and not his lips, the message I perceive is that not all black lives matter.

Unfortunately I doubt many that are looting and vandalizing property care about what Martin Luther King said or stood for.
That is what we need is a modern day MLK, not what we are seeing.
If there weren't people who still think that police killing subdued and compliant individuals is justified then there wouldn't be a need for Kaepernick and he'd all but disappear. But from reading the reactions to this most recent incident, we aren't there yet.

You say it isn't. I say it is. Now what? I guess we both fight to the death then? Oh right, we just acknowledge we have opinions.
Or rather, I do, and you go on failing to understand people see things differently than you do. Oh well, the world needs salt-of-the-earth people like you to work in jobs that will eventually be replaced by robots.

What makes you think you would respect a modern-day MLK? He would be doing things like kneeling for the flag and most of the people triggered by Kaep now would be triggered by a modern-day MLK as well

Thanks to MLK for all he did, but that is not what is needed in 2020. Right now, we need for racist cops to stop harassing and killing black and brown people for no good reason. Cops are supposed to protect and serve. That's what they take an oath to do. We also need for entitled people to understand that they cannot weaponize their privilege in order to bid the cops to do their dirty work for them (see case of Karen v. BirdWatcher). We need for white people to start taking the sort of action they would take YESTERDAY if all of a sudden cops started doing to their own children what they do to black folks in this country on a daily basis without fear of repercussion.
I like Colin Kaepernick , he speaks his mind and doesn’t worry about offending people or political correctness.
Uses Twitter and social media well to push his politics, what’s not to like?
