How are Japanese internment camps any different from the Ugihuer camps run by the Chinese?

Because the Japanese committed many war crimes and genocide against the Chinese in WWII and never admits to it after all these years or even paid any reparations.
Did the Japanese actually happen to perform reverse genocide? I ask because the population of China is 10x of Japan, which is already a massively overpopulated place.
The Japanese killed 15 to 20 million Chinese in WWII.
But let's remain focused on the six million that do matter

The importance of affordable consumer goods is far more important than the lives of disposable people.
We studied that in HS long ago.
Japan systematically and meticulously spent 50 years tearing down the British Empire in China, India, and South East Asia. The US embargoed oil to Japan. Japan retaliated at Pearl Harbor, Japanese were imprisoned in concentration camps in L.A. and S.F.

I don't think Japanese Americans should have been put into internment camps. They were Americans.
The Japanese killed many millions of Chinese civilians in WWII. My mom and dad separately fled the Japanese with their families as little children, part of the estimated 95 million Chinese civilians made refugees.
Just one part of the Japanese action, in 1942 killed at least 2.7 million Chinese civilians:
In a study published in 1996, historian Mitsuyoshi Himeta claims that the Three Alls Policy, sanctioned by Emperor Hirohito himself, was both directly and indirectly responsible for the deaths of "more than 2.7 million" Chinese civilians. His works and those of Akira Fujiwara about the details of the operation were commented by Herbert P. Bix in his Hirohito and the Making of Modern Japan, who wrote that the Sankō Sakusen far surpassed the Rape of Nanking not only in terms of numbers, but in brutality as well as "These military operations caused death and suffering on a scale incomparably greater than the totally unplanned orgy of killing in Nanking, which later came to symbolize the war".
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Three_Alls_PolicyThere are various estimates of Chinese civilian deaths in the wikipedia article that covers the entire 1937-1945 WWII period. It was millions by any reasonable estimate (which included the above numbers from the Three Alls Policy).
"The Second Sino-Japanese War was the largest Asian war in the 20th century. It accounted for the majority of civilian and military casualties in the Pacific War, with between 10 and 25 million Chinese civilians and over 4 million Chinese and Japanese military personnel dying from war-related violence, famine, and other causes. The war has been called "the Asian holocaust." "

"I don't think" should be replaced by "The".
The Brits/Americans murdered 250 Millions in East Asia and India from 1500 to 1970. It was a bloody failed conquest. Many of our ancestors died to keep Asia and India free and independent from savage invaders. Now we live and peace and enjoy each day. God Bless and Be Nice!

To deny that Japan committed genocide against the Chinese is like a Nazi denying the Holocaust ever happened. Look up the Rape of Nanking for just one example of the atrocities the Japanese did against millions of Chinese civilians for which Japan has never apologized or even acknowledged.
The US hasn't apologized for it's holocaust against Native Americans, Vietnam, Korea, Phlilpines, Mexico, China, nor at Hiroshima/Nagasaki. Why not? It's recorded by many professors in academic papers and journals.

Isn't the thread about Japanese-Americans being placed in intermant camps. The Nazis murdered millions, but German-Americans were not interred.

The 6 million number began appearing in periodicals as early as the 1890s.
The US economy is in shambles. Over 38 million Americans have lost their jobs; 100,000 small businesses have closed permanently, and 7.5 million more are at risk.
Nevertheless, Congress is poised to pass a new law – one that would obligate American taxpayers to give Israel at least $10 million per day for the next ten years.
The Senate could make its move at any moment; the House has already passed a similar bill.
The U.S. has given more money to Israel than to any other country. On average, Israelis receive 7,000 times more aid than other people around the world. In fact, we the taxpayers have given Israel – with a population under 9 million – more aid than we've given to the one billion people living sub-Saharan Africa, Latin America, and the Caribbean combined.
It's time to say, "Enough is enough. American taxpayer dollars for Americans in need!
Congress members need to know that we're watching. American taxpayers don't want to be required to give Israel massive amounts of money when so many Americans are struggling.
Read more about the bill (S.3176) here, and about the cost of Israel to Americans here.
Not surprising that a person who doubts covid deaths because it's politically convenient to do so would also be a Holocaust denier.

"For the sake of friendly relations between the peoples of China and Japan, the Government of the People's Republic of China renounces its claims for war reparations."
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anti-Japanese_sentiment_in_China"China refused war reparations from Japan in the 1972 Joint Communiqué. Japan gave official development assistance (ODA), amounting to 3 trillion yen (US$30 billion). According to estimates, Japan accounts for more than 60 percent of China's ODA received."
So blame the PRC government for China not receiving reparations from Japan.

Never apologized or even acknowledged?
"Q6: What is the view of the Government of Japan on the incident known as the "Nanjing Incident"?
The Government of Japan believes that it cannot be denied that following the entrance of the Japanese Army into Nanjing in 1937, the killing of a large number of noncombatants, looting and other acts occurred. However, there are numerous theories as to the actual number of victims, and the Government of Japan believes it is difficult to determine which the correct number is.
The feelings of deep remorse and heartfelt apology for the actions during the war have been upheld consistently by the post-war Cabinets. Such feelings were expressed in the form of the Murayama Statement on the 50th anniversary of the end of the war, and those feelings of remorse and apology were also carried forth via the Koizumi Statement issued to commemorate the 60th anniversary.
Such feelings of remorse and apology articulated by previous Cabinets will be upheld as unshakable, which was made clear in the Statement by the Prime Minister issued on 14 August, 2015."
