Japan systematically and meticulously spent 50 years tearing down the British Empire in China, India, and South East Asia. The US embargoed oil to Japan. Japan retaliated at Pearl Harbor, Japanese were imprisoned in concentration camps in L.A. and S.F.

I don't think Japanese Americans should have been put into internment camps. They were Americans.

The Japanese killed many millions of Chinese civilians in WWII. My mom and dad separately fled the Japanese with their families as little children, part of the estimated 95 million Chinese civilians made refugees.

Just one part of the Japanese action, in 1942 killed at least 2.7 million Chinese civilians:

There are various estimates of Chinese civilian deaths in the wikipedia article that covers the entire 1937-1945 WWII period. It was millions by any reasonable estimate (which included the above numbers from the Three Alls Policy).

To deny that Japan committed genocide against the Chinese is like a Nazi denying the Holocaust ever happened. Look up the Rape of Nanking for just one example of the atrocities the Japanese did against millions of Chinese civilians for which Japan has never apologized or even acknowledged.

The US hasn't apologized for it's holocaust against Native Americans, Vietnam, Korea, Phlilpines, Mexico, China, nor at Hiroshima/Nagasaki. Why not? It's recorded by many professors in academic papers and journals.

Isn't the thread about Japanese-Americans being placed in intermant camps. The Nazis murdered millions, but German-Americans were not interred.

The 6 million number began appearing in periodicals as early as the 1890s.

The US economy is in shambles. Over 38 million Americans have lost their jobs; 100,000 small businesses have closed permanently, and 7.5 million more are at risk.

"China refused war reparations from Japan in the 1972 Joint Communiqué. Japan gave official development assistance (ODA), amounting to 3 trillion yen (US$30 billion). According to estimates, Japan accounts for more than 60 percent of China's ODA received."

So blame the PRC government for China not receiving reparations from Japan.

If Japan thinks of the past that's nice for old people I guess. I want that anger is solved. Many are die by Japan, England, US, and appreciate Japan should say admission to take leadership. Japan enjoy very much since Meiji Revolution into developing China, South East Asia to making better life daily and customers for small town Japan company. Since 1890 Meiji Govt in Tokyo, Japan allocating vast sums of yen larger fraction of government budgets than West for advantages free to China and Asia enjoyment and love for Asia and China cultures. Japan makes good for China and Asia too don't forget. Not all people are bad. Not all Americans nor Athletics nor Marathons running.
