They were fired after the mayor watched a video. None of the investigation that always follows a death in custody. Even the cops who just happened to be there, were fired. The mayor then practically ordered the DA to file murder charges, and strongly suggest the guy wasn't do his job because he hadn't charged cops with murder a day after the death. The national media, even Fox News, have decided they are guilty without seeing any evidence other than the viral video (we don't even have most of the evidence yet). These guys are done. You would have to be incredibly naive to think any of them receive fairness or due process. If that's the way society wants these things to go from now on, so be it. But we should at least admit it.
