The "no snitching" policy for cops is enforced this say. If someone snitches against other cops, they will frame him for a crime, e.g. plant drugs in his car. In part snitching is discouraged in this manner.

Blacks commit crimes at twice the rate of blacks yet police kill more white criminals than black ones. By my math, that means they are killing whites that they come across committing crimes at about twice the rate of blacks.
The fact that there were other cops around seeing this and doing nothing about it even as the Eric Garner case was in everyone's minds and a bunch of concerned citizens were vociferously raising the cops' attention to the fact that the man was dying and then became non-responsive should suggest that this was not about a bad apple but something more systemic. Do the cops treat white men like that often with bystanders around? I doubt it. Police do kill white people even more often than black people but then there are more white criminals in the population.
Everyone has an opinion and yours really stinks. It is also completely false. Douglass Burke is mostly right. The white cop and black man thing is a narrative/agenda driven by the media. Police Officers deal with thousands of calls nationwide to wide ranging issues. Cherry picking a few incidents around the country does not make this ridiculous claim factual.
The video doesn’t look good. It will be hard to prove how the Officers use of force was reasonable based on the totality of circumstances. But all of the facts will be displayed in court for a jury to decide his fate.
yeah, i don't get how the other cops just stood and watched.
That was absolutely horrible. I am at a loss of words.
Man, that's some stone-cold evil sh*t. Cops don't even need guns to brutalize the public. Unfortunately, this is too common. This is why it's so important for the public to observe and document these incidents - otherwise this might well have been covered up and swept under the rug. Glad to hear four cops were fired - but charges need to be brought. Certainly the cop kneeling on Floyd's neck should see serious jail time.

It stands out because you can see the life slowly leave this mans body. The victim and several bystanders begged this evil son of a b*tch cop to lift his knee off his neck. This is bad...really bad!!
Actually blacks and whites have roughly the same numbers and percentages when it comes to illegal drug use. But blacks are incarcerated at seven or eight times the rate of whites for these offenses. This is where you get your skewed numbers.

Sickening. Chauvin (the murderer) is completely without affect the whole time except when it seems like one of the bystanders might make a move, then he gets out his mace. What a FU*KING coward. He sat there with his knees on his neck for a good 5 minutes after he stopped moving. Absolutely outrageous.

wait.........did you just try to switch between using rate stats and sum totals and think everybody would be stupid to notice?
When someone has handcuffs on they are no threat physically. This police officer needs to go to jail for murder if this man has died. Disturbing abuse and abuse of power.
Well, I don't have a link.....but I remember in the Bronx many years ago some white teens throwing light bulbs onto the street from the elevated subway.... a cop, who happened to be black, ran up the stairs and when he pushed one of the white guys against the wall in order to arrest him. His gun was in his hand and it accidentally fired and the kid was shot in the head. Dead. Cop was indicted but not convicted of murder because it was a tragic but honest mistake.
Bottom line: cops put their lives and careers on the line everyday and sometimes the whole world fall apart. Let this current case be tried in court, not cable t.v.

This is key too. Cops make it their job to conceal what they do behind the scenes because they know a lot of it is BS and would not be tolerated if openly known by citizens. They just throw the person in jail and if he tells the truth about what the cops did they just call him a crazy liar who a criminal so dont believe him. And the public buys it. Cops always complain and get on edge when they know people whip out a phone or camera to record them.

Manslaughter, not murder. Carries serious jail time if proven in a court of law. Until then, ignore the racial hucksters on cable t.v. as they are just immoral racial cheerleaders.

False. Blacks get convicted in greater numbers because for them it is a street crime. If you sell it on the street the straight people don't want to see it and will complain to the police.
I know some cops and everyone of them is a total jerk/a hole. Who else would wanna be a cop?
I didn't watch the video, but have seen something very similiar up close and personal. Came real close to grabbing me a cop.

This has no parallels to Rodney King. King was a maniac who put peoples lives at risk and had plenty of opportunities not to. You drive through my neighborhood at high speeds like that, and the police stop you and beat the crap out of you, I'm looking for a stick to join in. I want us all to get along, and I back up my words by not driving a two thousand pound weapon at your family and friends.
Rodney King and Eric Garner were fv<kheads. They are not the ones you should be hitching your wagon too.
The guy in the video didn't deserve any of it. He was completely subdued by that cop. He was compliant and cuffed. He was pleading to the cop to allow him to breathe. The cop was not in control of himself, intentionally trying to inflict as much pain and humiliation on the guy. It was cruel and inhumane. It's got nothing to do with protocol or acceptable use of force (it wasn't). It was about human decency. This was not manslaughter. It was cold-blooded murder. If the penalty for this was death by firing squad I'd have no problem pulling the trigger. .
By and large, most cops are good people, but for some reason there are guys like this who slip through the cracks. It's a profession that doesn't seem serious about weeding out the bad ones.
Comment:
If a person can speak and say he can’t breathe, then he can breathe.
Question:
What distance are we supposed to all run and be woke on social media, like we were coerced in doing for the dude in Georgia?
As someone involved in the criminal justice system, let me make something clear : since the LA chokehold cases of 1975 any pressure to the neck is deadly physical force. When a person is cuffed and on the ground , there is no justification. The cop should be charged with manslaughter.
Agree 100%. The indifferent affect of the cop is true psychopathy at work in carrying out an execution-style murder. His idiot enabling partner needs to do time as well.
For the record, I have nothing in general against cops. My good friend is a cop and she hates them far worse than I could, since she sees the bad ones at work. In many many interactions I have not had one go bad on me.
This one is beyond the pale...straight-up murder in the street.
