Damn the Government for trying to mitigate illness and death.
What horrible people the governors must be.
Yeah back to reality. Do some of you undergo special training to be such rebellious jerks?

Damn the government for forcibly stripping millions of Americans of their jobs, their very right to earn a living, and for further debasing our currency through "quantitative easing" (printing monopoly money backed by nothing), and for mortgaging away the financial well-being of those who come after us … all on back of a failed strategy for disease mitigation.
Government: "Hey, we know this is hard on you, but, hey, here's $1200 for your troubles." F**k 'em.
I'm 65 and don't give a sh*t about my risk level. Whatever risks I face as an older American, it doesn't give either the federal govt or state govts the right to take away younger people's livelihood for my sake. It's offensive that they use people like me (or my parents in their late 80's who agree with me) as an excuse for their misguided actions.
If you don't think the economic devastation caused by our govt's response to Covid-19 will far surpass the pain of the disease itself, just sit back and watch the remainder of the show as it plays out over the coming months and years. And maybe get out and talk to a few of the 21 million people who have lost work. Rebellious jerks, my ass.
