I'm a rising senior here and I have a few more months now to decide which school I want to early decision too (which would be a binding contract). I am debating between: Bowdoin, Middlebury, Colgate, Bates, and Amherst.
Overall I'm looking for a strong reputable academic school in the Northeast (which all of these are). Money is not an issue. My GPA is 3.75 unweighted and 4.25 weighted. 34 ACT (35 superscore) and plenty of decently strong extracurriculars.
In terms of running, my PR's are 4:40/10:05 (run in solo time trials this year). Ideally, I would like to run at the school I go to and would love a school surrouded by many trails and an environment conducive to distance running, the school doesn't necessarily have to have a strong team though.
Any thoughts/preferences from Alumns or people who have their own two cents would be great. Again, the schools are Bowdoin, Middlebury, Colgate, Bates, and Amherst.
(will update thread when I make my decision)
