They have added a lot of temporary beds. But they can't add doctors and nurses that easily. I believe you are looking at percent of beds instead of the number of patients.
ER patients is higher now than on 7/2.
Critical Care patients is higher now than on 7/6.
General inpatients is higher now than on 7/6
Stay home.

Again, what kind of surgeon are you?

Actually, I think I misunderstood you. You may be looking at patients.

By "bed use", you could mean total patients in beds or ratio of patients to beds. Which was it?

This makes me angry. I have relatives in Augusta. What if they get sick and need to go to the hospital? They won't get the care they deserve.
Our governor is an idiot. Anyone who thinks we don't need to shut down now is an idiot. This is obvious. There is no excuse.

But both experts agree, statistics like the low death rate may change, if we don't change our risky behavior.
“If we get to the point where we overload the healthcare systems and we don’t have enough of those supplies, we don’t have enough beds, we don’t enough of everything else -- then that mortality rate will likely climb because we’re not able to maintain such a high level of care,” Coule said.
Coule (Chief Medical Officer at Augusta University Health) says, even though these numbers are scary, he doesn’t think we need another lockdown. He says the rates can be controlled if people just wear masks, social distance and wash their hands.

^ This is obviously not working. Coule is an idiot. He said the same thing in April. It didn't work.
Your advice is like telling people it's only a suggestion to stop at stop signs. But if you don't stop, you won't get a ticket. So then people treat stop signs as optional. There is a reason we have laws for these things.
There only is one thing that is proven to work. That is mandatory lockdown. If you still can't understand that you are an idiot.

per CDC
Everyone Should
Wash your hands often
Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds especially after you have been in a public place, or after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing.
Avoid close contact
Inside your home: Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
If possible, maintain 6 feet between the person who is sick and other household members.
Outside your home: Put 6 feet of distance between yourself and people who don’t live in your household.
Remember that some people without symptoms may be able to spread virus.
Stay at least 6 feet (about 2 arms’ length) from other people.
Keeping distance from others is especially important for people who are at higher risk of getting very sick.
Cover your mouth and nose with a cloth face cover when around others
You could spread COVID-19 to others even if you do not feel sick.
The cloth face cover is meant to protect other people in case you are infected.
Everyone should wear a cloth face cover in public settings and when around people who don’t live in your household, especially when other social distancing measures are difficult to maintain.
Continue to keep about 6 feet between yourself and others. The cloth face cover is not a substitute for social distancing.
Cover coughs and sneezes
Always cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when you cough or sneeze or use the inside of your elbow and do not spit.
Clean and disinfect
Clean AND disinfect frequently touched surfaces daily. This includes tables, doorknobs, light switches, countertops, handles, desks, phones, keyboards, toilets, faucets, and sinks.
If surfaces are dirty, clean them. Use detergent or soap and water prior to disinfection.
Then, use a household disinfectant. Most common EPA-registered household disinfectants will work.
Monitor Your Health Daily
Be alert for symptoms. Watch for fever, cough, shortness of breath, or other symptoms of COVID-19.
Wear a mask
Social distance
Wash your hands
GET TESTED
^This is obviously not working.
Stay home.

Got my results back from testing on Sunday. Negative!!!
I’m not sure where the mayor is getting her tests done, but eight days seems strange. This was the longest I’ve had to wait, but not close eight days.
it's a hoax
This shows why testing is not a panacea. False negatives happen a lot.
This 24 year old ICU nurse is in the hospital with COVID after testing negative. The only reason she was properly diagnosed is because she works in a hospital. She noticed a little shortness of breath but otherwise felt fine. A doctor suggested a CT scan of her lungs and that's how they found the infection.
