As for what we are likely to see in Georgia, it seems that our idiot governor is not going to shut anything down again until the hospitals fill up.
Sunday saw another record with 2225 new cases. The CDC estimates that for every reported case, we have 10 cases that are unreported. This means that each day we are getting about 20,000 new cases in the state of Georgia. But that will continue to rise exponentially as long as everything (including bars) stay open.
Most of those new cases are going to younger people who will never need hospitalization. But right now those young people are spreading the disease to their parents and grandparents. We will see more outbreaks in nursing homes. We will see the hospitals fill up.
The current strategy in Georgia is to let everyone get sick and just hope we have enough body bags.

Good story.
Daily deaths are way down in Georgia. In America. In the world
Chinese study showed asymptomatic carriers do NOT pass on the virus.
Took one Covid positive person and exposed him to 455 healthy people.
Not one of the 455 got the virus

Liar
Look into it.
Down in Georgia.
Down in America.
Down worldwide

Democrat media screams coronavirus is surging. It’s not.
For those with capacity for critical thought, and lacking mental illness, here are plots of global daily cases and fatalities, 7-day smoothed, taken from the Johns Hopkins University site:
No thinking person of around average intelligence, plus or minus one standard deviation or higher, looks at that plot and concludes that daily deaths are declining around the world. Only people who imagine all these deaths are fake would offer such a thesis.
Daily deaths down.
In Georgia.
In America.
In the world.
Yet these "critical thinkers" respond only to the MSM screaming spiking, surging, soaring and other tested out sales words

What kind of experiment would knowingly expose people to a deadly virus for which there is no cure?!?!
One more comment for the non-mentally ill, who may not be very skilled at reading graphs but are interested to understand. The raw daily plot fluctuates weekly according to the reporting patterns of the various jurisdictions around the world, and so you can see the most recent daily raw value as being lower than the previous few days. If you look back at multiples of 7 days, you will see the same pattern has occurred every week. One removes the noise to see the trend by smoothing the data through time averaging, as I've done in the graph I shared.
All credible sources of data (none of which are connected with the so-called MSM), namely Johns Hopkins and Oxford University (the source linked by the previous tinfoil-hat poster), show the same thing. Global daily new fatalities are growing over the past few weeks (although relatively stable over the past week) and daily cases are skyrocketing.
Global fatalities are not decreasing. Except in the skull cavities of people who don't believe any of them are real anyway.

Deadly??? It’s less than 1% and basically nothing for a healthy person. That’s like saying, why would anyone get in a car willingly, look how many people die in car accidents! Get out of your bubble, relax and enjoy life.

When I said "deadly" I meant "could kill you". I did not mean to imply that the virus is deadlier than other similar viruses. I am more astounded at the ethics of this particular experiment. I don't know how it works in China but I have a hard time believing that this is how experiments are typically conducted.

Correction & Update:
Since June 1st confirmed cases for 18-29 year-olds increased by 95%. 70+ year-olds - 21%.
All age groups other than 18-29 increased by 36%.
Know any 18-29 year olds sick with this?
Hell, know anybody sick with this?
I sure don't. Four plus months in with 24/7 fear mongering in the media.
Amazing how people can be tricked into believing the media and ignoring their own experience.
You are so f*cking stupid, it pains me.

Just so desperate to steer the argument away from the fact that deaths are way down in Georgia.
Anti-Semite, global conspiracy, the Dow. Saying these words increase the deaths somehow? Please explain.

How's it going K5? Any new conspiracies you've got to peddle, today?
Back in May, people were saying "where are all the new outbreaks" as states reopened. The scientists said "just wait until June". Now, it is "where are all the deaths". Same answer. Death lag positive tests by about 27 days. Check back in around mid July.
Absent a spectacular new approach to treating the virus, we will see deaths climb in the US starting in about two weeks from now. The death rates will not be what they were in NY, Detroit, New Orleans, etc. because the states that are under the gun have not been caught by surprise. Sadly, this was expected and most states are much better prepared. But quality of care will decline as hospitals move into surge capacity. There are only so many doctors and nurses to go around. AZ has already established guidelines for rationing care. So, the big "what if" right now is what happens if the surge capacity gets blown away. If that happens, then we could end up in the same situation that happened in March/April with people being triaged in hallways. Modelers are saying that AZ is well on its way to blowing out their surge capacity within two weeks. TX, FL, and SC are at risk of being next with GA, MS, AL, TN and NC close behind.

Well I guess that proves all the graphs showing massive decreases in daily deaths world wide and in America are wrong.
