No questions, but three pieces of advice--the first immediate, the others for a while later:
1) Sleep when the baby sleeps. When she's down, that's not the time to do stuff that you've been putting off--that's the time to sleep. This is completely serious advice, from one "older" first-time father to another.
2) When the child is eating at the dinner table with you, always have a roll of paper towels handy that you can access without leaving your seat.
3) There are books and videos on teaching your young child sign language. Use them. Kids are able to communicate by sign quite a while before they can use speech, and the brighter kids (which yours probably will be--genes will out) need to. Very frustrating for them, if they have to wait until they can speak clearly before conveying their wants/needs.
