Probs going back to Reebok, the company he started with.

I work in the industry and have been asking around about this a bit today. Just heard that Nick and one other high profile runner are signing with a non-traditional brand. You guys haven't and probably won't guess correctly. I guess the structure of the deal is more favorable than what the traditional shoe companies tend to offer. Will be interesting to hear the reaction when this comes out.

What does that have to do with my comment? I know how decorated Willis is.
It was in reference to your disrespectful initial comment.
Is it Uniqlo? That's who Federer signed with.
My unusual prediction....is Altra (do they even make spikes??). My only reason is that one of his training crew that remains in the Ann Arbor area is ultrarunner Geoff Burns...who I believe is an Altra athlete. Yup....I got nothing else.
He's 37. He may be retiring. Not my fault you're dim.

Down the shoe ladder to Skechers.
ON running. They seem to throw around money and have an attraction to already established athletes. They seem like they really want to make a splash.

Well done! When you can’t defend yourself or run out of any semblance of justification for offensive comments, just revert to calling others names.

After signing Federer , Uniqlo thought they needed someone that no one in the world has heard of .
Brooks has botched their sports marketing department badly over the last 5 years and it is coming back to haunt them.
Clueless on an Olympic year.
Steve is now at ON with way more freedom.
Nick Willis to ON.
Why would I defend myself for a perfectly legitimate comment? Don't blame me, blame your parents.

Funny enough ON was my first guess. Along with Joe Klecker's presumed signing it makes sense.

Source for Klecker?
My guess: starting his own Ann Arbor-based training group with Brooks as a sponsor. Second guess is he's starting his own brand.

Meh, dim would not be knowing that Willis is still racing. Dim would be thinking that he would be “excited” to announce his retirement. It’s odd when people like yourself with an obvious bottled up angst come to a message board to insult people with weak attempts at sarcasm. Nick has been a hero to Lower Hutt for a very, very long time. I’ll be happy to defend him from your insults as long as you’d like.

Starting his own brand would be very neat. I wonder if that's feasible with the current Nike hegemony

You're right, I am dumb and you are very smart. Give me a moment while I wipe the drool off my shirt.
Allbirds. They just released their first performance / running shoe. The foam doesn't seem too promising / advanced, but I'm sure it'll evolve. I'll be excited to see if this is the case. Could be really unique and they're overall a great brand.

Puma or Diadora?
