David,
my opinions regarding whether this war should have been started at this time will never change. The US and GB ignored the tangible progress of 1441 and leapt to action on their separate agenda of regime change.
You said: "Or will you blame Bush for not providing a real war to watch on CNN?"
How stupid a question is that?
On a related note, though, I was watching the war show on CNN last night and the lady announcer actually used the term "upcoming attractions" to describe the next interesting war bit that might come along for my viewing pleasure. I just don't know where to begin talking about that. So I won't.
luv2run,
Canada does not have "draconian" hate speech laws. Our highest courts have made judgements opposed to hate literature, yes. However, this does not automatically allow the police to arrest anyone who expresses hate in their exercise of free speech. There have been very few cases where this issue has been brought to the courts. Canadians take their right to free speech quite seriously, and it is only in cases where the overwhelming majority believe something shouldn't be said that it would ever come up.
And nobody goes to a hockey game out of protest. Canadians go to hockey games because the game is an essential part of the Canadian soul. The opportunity to protest would be purely coincidental.
