Russia's ham fisted tactics of leveling cities with artillery is more a sign of its incompetence in 21st century warfare.
This is just a sign of your complete ignorance of warfare of any kind.
EVERYONE fights in cities this way.
Only morons and people who learned everything they know about war from video games think you clear buildings by running in the front door and losing as many men as it takes to kill the defenders.

The Ukrainians didn't level Kherson to take it back. They cut off logistical support thus forcing a Russian withdraw. There loomed the threat of urban combat, but the Russians didn't see in advantage in taking a stand that they ultimately would have lost anyway.
This is a fundamental difference in the tactics employed by the two sides. Ukraine has an interest in the country's infrastructure and post-war cost to rebuild while Russia doesn't seem terribly concerned about the state of a "post liberation" Ukraine.

If Russia dug in and defended Kherson Ukraine would have done exactly what Russia does.
Do you think it's just a coincidence that Russia only leveled the cities that Ukraine defended street by street?
No nation on earth fights the way you think Russia should be fighting.
Looks like Russia had another embarrassing night of attempted terror attacks. Something like 32 of 33 missiles and drones shot down. Russia has spent like $250-$300 million in failed missile attacks in two days. That’s a lot of money that Russia could have spent combating Nazism at home or not being a third-world, Nazi-infested sh*thole. Russia chose to spend it on terrorism instead. The world would be a better place without Russia in it and that’s why every dead Russian (soldier) is a step towards global peace.
Done deal. Only morans would think Ukrainians could ever kick out Russia from Donbas and Crimea. And as long Ukraine doesn't recognize these territories as Russia or kick them out, Ukraine is considered to be a "country in conflict", which closes the doors to NATO and the EU.
Bull. US forces cleared Fallujah in about six weeks without having to go block by block leveling every building. US forces had about 100 KIA and 500 wounded versus about 1,000 to 1,500 insurgents killed. With skilled and highly coordinated infantry supported by close air support and armored divisions, you can win in an urban area without having to sit in trenches lobbing artillery and sending meat waves to take a few hundred meters ever two or three weeks. There was extensive damage to buildings in Fallujah due to the fighting, but nothing compared to what Russia has done in Bakhmut and earlier in Mariupol.
Russian forces never learned urban warfare tactics and have not achieved air superiority. All they know how to do is what they did in Grozny and Aleppo. Bomb everything in sight to force the opposing forces to fall back until there is nothing left to bomb. But in Ukraine, this tactic is proving short sighted as Ukraine forces are quickly taking back territory in flanking maneuvers while Russia is bogged down try to hold the center of Bakhmut.

He has not heard about Ukrainian army bombing everything and anything on their way in Donbas for 8 years now.
From Kiev's perspective, Donbas is inhabited by untermenschen.

Funny thing is that while a lot of people praise the Ukrainian warfare and smear Russian military, the Ukrainians are not really getting anywhere even with NATO command, intel and weapons.
Once more, if Russian army is so pathetic, how come they're forever going to control Donbas and Crimea?

To be honest, with your comment about the warfare and leveling cities, you have shown incompetence. You don't know much about urban warfare and what it takes when the enemy conducts fights from civilian infrastructure with all they got.
For the past 20 years the US used bomb / missile strikes on other countries 46 times per day every day.

This post is just embarrassing. Comparing a handful of thugs with AK's in a few buildings in Fallujah to a modern army entrenched in a city is completely disingenuous.
Regardless, the city was still pretty much leveled where ever fighting actually occurred.
"Fallujah suffered extensive damage to residences, mosques, city services, and businesses. The city, once referred to as the "City of Mosques", had over 200 pre-battle mosques of which 60 or so were destroyed in the fighting. Many of these mosques had been used as arms caches and weapon strongpoints by Islamist forces. Of the roughly 50,000 buildings in Fallujah, between 7,000 and 10,000 were estimated to have been destroyed in the offensive and from half to two-thirds of the remaining buildings had notable damage.[65][66]"

I’m all for the war ending. I’m just smart enough to know that many many Russians are going to have to die for that to happen. Therefore, the sooner many many Russians die the sooner the war will be over.

Ukraine isn't capable of killing enough Russians to end the war that way.

Heartwarming stories like this are all the help I need.
Prigozhin's mouthpiece channel admin GREY ZONE watches a video by the 3rd Assault brigade assaulting a Russian defensive position near Bakhmut which resulted in 300m of progress in 16 minutes. Unable to understand how the enemy [Ukrainians] can calmly send vehicles and infantry… pic.twitter.com/vKzKMAXjyJ

I get that Russians are dumb and subjected to a lot of propaganda, but at some point they’re going to wake up and realize that the war in Ukraine isn’t worth it and that life with Putin in charge sucks a fat one. The more Russians that don’t come home to mommy and daddy, the sooner that recognition will happen.

You know nothing. The insurgents in Fallujah were mostly former military from the Iraqi armed forces and had plenty of arms and ammunition thanks to the clueless US occupation that disbanded the Iraqi armed forces without first securing all their weapons.
The damage in Fallujah was nothing compared to what Russia has done in Bakhmut and previously in Aleppo and Grozny. US forces only used heavy weapons to take out buildings when they were actively being used by insurgents. US forces could have very easily just leveled all of Fallujah with cruise missiles and carpet bombing, and mop up anything that is still standing with tanks, mortars and black hawks. That was not an options due to the political optics of US forces leveling a Muslim city in order to avoid dangerous urban warfare.
