Russia probably spent more money it doesn’t have to launch the missiles then it cost to shoot them down. Maybe it’s time we give Ukraine the tools it needs to really crush Russia - a few hundred tomahawks hitting Moscow and St. Petersburg would get the RussoNazis attention. Ukraine promised their Western Allies that they would not attack Russia with Western weapons. That was the deal Ukraine made with the the West for weapons. Just go back and read the history of WWII regarding the war in Europe and the Allies contribution to end it on Western terms. The same thing is happening today. National Socialist Russia will eventually be defeated the same way as National Socialist Germany was on May 8, 1945.

Nazi Germany was already badly defeated in two major battles before the United States even got involved: the Battle of Britain (1940) & the Battle of Moscow (1941), where Operation Barborosa was canned embarrassing & humiliating Hitler.

In fact, it was a miracle Germany lasted that long before surrendering (probably some great generals, some superior military technology & unrelenting fighting spirit to defend the Fatherland).

With the last part of your post, I don't see Russia being defeated the "same way that Nazi Germany was on May 8, 1945." Read up on the Battle of Berlin - the city was laid to rubble from the massive bombardment of the Allies while Hitler lived his remaining days in a SS bunker before committing suicide.

More like they were defeated after breaking their nonaggression pact with Russia, failing to stop the British Expeditionary Forces from escaping at Dunkirk, and declaring war on the United States.

A Russian defeat in Ukraine is simply Ukraine holding out, reclaiming more of its occupied territory, and Russia giving up on its invasion. It doesn't mean Ukraine conquering Russia. Ukraine only needs to repulse the invaders and maintain its sovereignty. The parallels you're drawing with WWII really aren't there.

C'mon man...study your history dude! Germany was defeated in the Battle of Britain losing hope of any air superiority in the North Atlantic (the Spitfire kicked some serious butt!). Nazi Germany was simply ill-prepared for war - Ludwig would know a thing or two about Germany's preparedness for a world war. 😉

I don't think Russia can give up the invasion - they're in it too deep. And Putin is a war criminal - so what does he have to lose by continuing the fight (he's not going to give up the invasion & turn himself in to an international tribunal. Lol).

Russia has the manpower to sacrifice - historically they win wars by throwing bodies at the enemy (they lost 25 million soldiers & civilians in WW2). And Ukraine has got to be getting low on manpower - what are they going to do? Beg NATO for some troops? Ask civilians to take up arms?

Btw, Russia is not only fighting Ukraine but they're fighting NATO & the U.S. indirectly. I see the fighting lasting forever with breaks in the action here & there (kinda like a sporting contest) Pretty soon people in the U.S. will become completely immune to the war (as many are already) & nobody here will really care anymore (as many already don't). As long as our sports, music & social media entertainment isn't disrupted, nobody really cares about two Slavic nations that can't get along & hate each other.

I'll check in on this every now & then just for fun (some of posts are comical. Lol). But it'll be the same old montra with the some old posters with funny user names going at each other's throats as if they didn't have anything better to do. Lol.

By the start of the Second World War, Dönitz was supreme commander of the Kriegsmarine's U-boat arm (Befehlshaber der Unterseeboote (BdU)). In January 1943, Dönitz achieved the rank of Großadmiral (grand admiral) and replaced Grand Admiral Erich Raeder as Commander-in-Chief of the Navy.

Grand Admiral Erich Raeder believed the navy was unprepared for the start of World War II by at least five years. However Hitler didn't heed his advice and was sacked in favor of Dönitz.
