Lukashenko is largely a puppet of the Kremlin already and Russia has increased it's military presence in Belarus since the Ukraine invasion. Unless someone decidedly pro-western succeeded him, there would be no need for Russia to do anything different.
nah lukashenko has refused time after time to attack Ukraine and open a second front. This has not pleased Putin. Easy to see how Putin would rather have a puppet who would use Belorusan armed forces to hit Ukraine.
Putin certainly would like "a better puppet", but committing Russian troops he doesn't have to an attack on Belarus as a way of getting Belarusian forces to fight against Ukraine seems sub-optimal.
Lukashenko has been about as pro-Russia as Putin could hope without incurring a Maiden style revolution in Belarus. This is a big part of why Putin felt Ukraine needed a change in leadership and why it has implications to other Russian satellite states. If Ukraine successfully pivots to closer ties with the west, others are likely to follow.
I'll be sure to share this with my good friend, a Russian-speaking Jew named Volodymyr Zelensky. He knows a lot about Ukraine and would probably be really interested to find out what's going on there!

During the 2020-21 protests in Belarus, it was an open question whether Russian forces would intervene. Some Wagner goons were caught operating in Minsk. Lukashenko has learned that he needs to be Putin's poodle. But Russia knows that trying to get Belarus to join in combat against Ukraine is a potential disaster. There are plenty of Belarussians who hate Lukashenko as evidenced by the 20-21 protests. A few thousand Belarussians have been reported to have jumped the border in order to fight with Ukraine. Most Belarussians understand that what is happening in Ukraine can happen in Belarus if they ever get rid of Lukashenko and get a government that is friendly to the west. So, if Belarussians are asked to fight with Russia, the odds of that starting a revolution against Lukashenko are pretty good. And if the revolution is successful, Russia would then have to intervene in Belarus. Worse still, a new government in Belarus could decide to side with Ukraine and block RU from using Belarus to stage operations in Ukraine.

The Kremlin's need to justify the war grew to embrace the most radical voices, including those peddling Nazi creed, as its ideologues became hell-bent on normalising the aggression, Aleksandar Đokić writes.

Stepan Bandera was a Ukrainian nationalist who joined forces with the German Nazis during World War II because he believed that they would help his country gain independence from the now defunct Soviet Union.
The most conservative estimates put the cost for the all-out war by the Ukrainian authorities against all public symbols, monuments and names that are associated with Russia, the October revolution and Soviet history, or left...
A street in Kyiv will soon bear the name of Volodymyr Kubiyovych, one of the founders of the Waffen-SS Galizien, the Ukraine branch of the Nazi military force.
BRICS and the majority of the world's countries support Russia. Support has increased for Russia, especially from countries that were colonized by NATO members. You know, POC which you Nazis hate on.
but #Moldova
Why are your Nazis still getting their cities leveled by Russia after over a year? Because your Nazis are fu**ing weak.
Here comes that Olaf German Nazi salute for Z. He seriously Nazi salutes for Z:
You don't have a clue do you? What has Russia gained so far, how about .............NOTHING!!!!!!!
Russia will never rule Ukraine and everybody knows that so why this is still going on makes no sense at all. Just more dead Russia soldiers and destroyed tanks.
Never seen an army that sucks as badly as these Russians.

Serious answer: I don’t. That’s why I don’t support Russia - the country with more Nazis than EVERY OTHER COUNTRY COMBINED. As the numerous articles you’ve posted show, Putin happily cultivated a large Nazi base in Russia until there were so many Nazis in Russia that they threatened Putin’s power. So, serious question: why do YOU support RussoNazis that started this war?
