Clayton Morris? Why would anybody listen to this discredited f*cking idiot? Remember when he said the Kherson counteroffensive was a failure? I do. A few days later the RussoNazis fled Kherson like a bunch of f*cking p*ssies.

AP News and NPR lying too?
Nope. Just you and Clayton telling lies. Or, show where AP or NPR say that “Ukraine is FINISHED”.

Both sources note that Urkine has not launched a counter offensive.
And Russians are STILL running away from Bakhmut? Sounds like the counteroffensive could be even more successful than initially expected. Russia lost as a month's worth of gains in under 48 hours.
p.s. Nobody with a brain expected the counteroffensive to start before the middle to end of May or early June when the ground dried out. Didn't Clayton tell you this? Or was he too busy ranting about sh*t he doesn't understand (which is pretty much every topic).
According to Russian Sources today has been the Worst Day in Decades for the Russian Air Force with 2 Mi-8 Transport Helicopters, 1 Su-34 Fighter/Bomber, and 1 Su-35 Air-Defense Fighter being Shot Down over the Bryansk Region of Western Russia by what is claimed to have been either Air-to-Air or Surface-to-Air Missiles which were Launched from Inside of Ukraine.

Speculating, but Patriot missile systems were allegedly fielded in the past week and have much longer surface to air range (about 50 miles) than anything previously in theater. If that’s it, Russian air operations will become more limited than they already are.

yeah in a sense it doesn't matter if the planes were downed by friendly fire or by UKR fire....as you say this means there will likely be even less RU airpower on the battlefield.
Also interesting: reports that the US has supplied a device that can fool enemy radar into falsely 'seeing' pretty much any aircraft it wants you to think is there. If those things are in the air, RU anti-aircraft operators must be seriously confused and error prone.

Russian sources?
Worst day in decades?
Western propaganda aimed at western audience
Yes. Despite what Clayton Morris has been telling you about how awesome Russia is for the last 15 months, Russia is getting f*cked up and losing tanks, aircraft, armored vehicles, and personal by the buttload.
The Commission of the Council of Cantons of the Federal Assembly, the upper house of the Swiss Parliament, has recommended easing export controls on Swiss military equipment, which could potentially benefit Ukraine in the fut...

It matters in the sense of how it changes Russian tactics. For instance, if it were Ukrainian commandos or partisans with SLMs operating in Russia, that doesn't scale very well. If it's friendly fire, that, in principle is something the Russians could fix. If it's air-to-air missiles from Ukrainian aircraft, it's a risky mission for the Ukrainians to run with their limited fleet of aircraft, so again it doesn't scale well.
If it's a long range SAM site behind Ukrainian lines, then it fundamentally changes where the Russians can safely operate their aircraft which affects tactics on the front lines.
The counterpoint is that SAM sites are easy to find when the radar is operating and are "high value targets" for obvious reasons. Attacking them is problematic because they're expressedly designed to destroy the sorts of weapons that would be attacking them. Reportedly the Kinzhal hypersonic missile that was downed by a Patriot battery the other day was targeting the system that shot it down.
Again, I don't know that these aircraft were destroyed by Patriot systems, but pushing them closer to the fronts where they can prosecute a more offensive role rather than using them in a stand back city defense as analysts seemed to expect would be an interesting twist in tactics.

You tell him, Carmines! This was never about Nazis. It's about Goldman Sachsterists trying to rule the world via austerity programs.
You can't handle the truth
Troof schmoof, Carmines. Remember when you posted these?

That was part of a meme-theme that you Russia-loving bozorians had last fall about how everything was going to change for Ukraine once winter hit, because Europeans would beseech Russia, hat in hand, to warm their iced-over homes again.
That is exemplar of how the mind of a Russia-loving, America-hating zealot works. There is significant childish and impulsive component to that mentality and an inability to distinguish what they desperately want to be true -- Europe will freeze and capitulate over the winter -- with what actually is true -- there was never a snowball's chance in hell that sophisticated, market-based economies in Europe would freeze and capitulate to Russia over the winter.
That type of childish, impulsive mind is how you get wishful-thinking desires posted like the now infamous "5 days tops" by AppeaseInRoom, Lolly's "Kiev has 3-4 more days left and then Zelensky will flee to his sponsors in the US” (posted 2/26/22) and Wigins' "The Ukrainian military is strategically defeated already and is being methodically dismantled" (posted 3/19/22).

agreed.
wild card if the culprit is the US decoy that has been deployed...if RU can't trust its own radar that's another thing they have to figure out. For all we know, the decoy was up, telling RU anti-aircraft radar that UKR Mig-29s were in the neighborhood, but really they were RU Su-35s that then received RU AA fire.
I don't know exactly how the decoys work but just the knowledge of them is going to tie up RU air even more. And maybe UKR can now use that built in hesitation...for ex have the decoy say that RU planes were up so no missiles are fired, and then blammo, come in at treetop levels and hit something.
Lolly, I'm an American. I live in what's called a "Melting Pot Country." My fellow Countrymen and Country women and myself have been exposed to people migrating from every corner of the globe. I think we have a better understanding about people from all corners of the world than perhaps you have.
And please don't lecture me about how well I know or don't know about people living in other parts of the Country. We all mix and mingle. We do not for the most part live in a bubble or safety zone. We have an Inter-State Highway system. We can travel from state to state without having to stop at borders and showing travel documents. Not every country can claim that.
Logically, if you desperately try to become a member of a military alliance that has your neighbour declared as it's enemy, you will have this neighbour do something about it.
Finland seems to meet that characterization. Right? Am I correct? You need to Confirm or Deny that Finland meets your characterization, Loll/Cecc.
Looks like Zelensky met with the Pope (El Papa), Looly/Cecc. There are 1.3 billion Catholics in the world. You know what that means don't you? Yeah, you know. You know only too well what that means.
So if your neighbor kidnapped your children, you'd be okay with it. Interesting. Would your reaction depend on if your neighbor had a bigger house and a better car than you did, or would you let your neighbor abduct your children even if he lived in a one-room shack? Would you at least check what he planned to do with your children first, or do you consider it basically none of your business at that point?
Don't miss the point of my post, which is: "Be good to your neighbours and all will be fine".
And if you gonna be installing weapons on your property pointing to you neighbour, don't wonder why they come knocking on your door.
Pure idiocy: have a 2300km border with Russia, yet be planning on bringing NATO weapons to your country.
Finland. Installing weapons on Finland property pointing at its neighbour. Finland is a very, very bad neighbour to Russia.
There is a video in this link, where you can actually see the precise moment it happened -- NATO creates a brand spanking new 830 mile border on Russia. The missile development capabilities for NATO are endless. Big missiles, small missiles, sideways missiles, missiles aimed at Moscow, missiles aimed at Russian Nazis, missiles that do loop-de-loops, missiles aimed at Sergach, missiles aimed at Leningrad. NATO missiles up the ying-yang.
Russia is still in Nazi Ukraine after over a year? Man, Ukraine and NATO are fuc*in weak. NATO added Finland and Russia is still whooping Ukraine's Nazi government.
Good thing america is boosting Russia's economy:

Counteroffensive started. It is so weak, nobody knows it's actually a thing. Russia is still in Ukraine doing what it wants. Russia loves beating Nazis and continues to do so. NATO added Finland yet Russia is still liberating the Donbas from the invading UkroNazi aggressors. NATO is getting their *ss handed to them, adding members to prop up UkroNazis but still losing to Russia. Too little, too late.
The world has no place for Ukraine's ethnic cleansing, Donbas invading Nazi government in the 21st century:
Stepan Bandera was a Ukrainian nationalist who joined forces with the German Nazis during World War II because he believed that they would help his country gain independence from the now defunct Soviet Union.
