Exactly this. Before NY I can spend a couple of days riding with them as have some gardening leave at the moment. We will see how they ride then.
I really hope you can!
Remember NOT to say where you are joining them on here, as they are reading this.
Can you stick on their tails for the whole two days?
Bear in mind they might set off REALLY early on the second day to try and give you the slip.
Hope you're fit! Remember the 120 mile days early in his trip before he had the GPS? !!!!! Gosh, however will you keep up!!
And remember the 90 mile day at 17 mph, the day his GPS conveniently lost contact for most of the day.
If you rode with him for two days and he only managed 9-10 mph, and then for only 50-60 miles, you have to question the other claimed mileage.
Darren Kavinoky made it to Virginia this morning.

So it's official, he drove the part from Old Tennessee Rd to Bristol. The third gap in his journey. Not a big one but a gap.
The evidence is piling up.
Looks like he about to hop on a rail car.

I'll be on his tail in a few minutes. Updates coming forth.
Meaning tracking him or are you actually confronting!?

The tracker shows Kavinoky has been parked on the side of the road just before the train tracks for quite a while now. I assume this is our boots on the ground who has met up with them?
By evening, there will be a resumption of data to a spot 80 miles away connected by a straight line.
It's been hours now since Kavinoky stopped the tracker. Hopefully Kavinoky and Kyle are not burying the body of our boots on the ground.
Kavinoky seems pretty confident he will finish on July 9th in New York as well as being in Washington on July 4th:

Check out the hover message. After being stopped a few miles away all night, it says his GPS tracker battery is dead (0%)...while last seen on a dead end street...next to railroad tracks. WTF!

Yes, the tracker often says 0% battery. Some have said that's because it's either hooked up to an auxiliary battery or plugged in on the RV. I'm not sure what to make of it.
New to the thread. Can someone recap this thread in a few key bullet points?

Yep, that's exactly what has happened yet again. There is another big straight line on the tracker, this time ending in Fort Chiswell. Kavinoky is totally cheating.
LOL He's not even trying to fake it any more. It'll be interesting to see what other lies he tells when interviewed by the media. I bet there will be some doozies.
Calm down everyone. Ozzie will be on soon and tell us that everything looks legit to him and invite any of the skeptics to come out and join Darren. He's really easy to find on the tracker.

-Darren Kavinoky, a tv show host and traffic ticket lawyer, claimed all over CNN, Dr. Phil, and countless news releases and local TV stations that he was going to become one of the few 50 years old to ever "run, not walk" across America covering 40-50 miles a day on foot.
-After a couple weeks into his "run" and us putting pressure on his on social media, he makes a video saying he was magically injured just 25 miles on the very first day and couldn't run without waiting 8-10 weeks. Yet he posted pictures of him running across the Arizona border just the week before.
-After lots of complaints, somebody got their PR guy to set up the GPS tracker for us because Kavinoky had zero tracking despite being sponsored by Garmin with Forerunner 235 watches.
-Kavinoky has now been riding a mountain bike with zero sweat and fatigue pretty much the whole way through America, including the desert, typically covering 80-120 miles per day with some rest days to film his TV show.
-From following the tracker, we don't believe his speeds and as you can see, he has turned off the tracker several times and popped up at a different location.
-Cmon Dude phoned some stores on Kavinoky's route before they arrived and one store said they saw the RV driving but no bikers riding.
-We may or may not have some boots on the ground.

From using our post times of when we saw Kavinoky start and finish today, he went from Bristol, TN to Fort Chiswell, VA in 4.5 hours. That distance on bike is 80 miles with a ton of up an down elevation, so definitely not an easy route. You would expect his average speed to be lower than the 11 mph average he sustained thus far. But 80 miles in 4.5 hours is 17.8 mph. All this on very hilly terrain with mountain bikes and Kavinoky's performance so far? Definitely a cheat.
