I just want to say (Lawrence) is not a class marathon. Not to say Indy Classic will be either, But Lawrence certainly needs to get a life.

I have waited for years for the Mini Oranizers to have a Full Marathon in Downtown Indianapolis. Thanks Mini for giving this city such an event. You can count on several thousand people running this event. Any person who wants to see if they have improved from running your half,now can run again this september before the snow fall, then start training in the spring for the mini. I Love This Route. Pass the TV Stations and Historic Districts, High Rise Buildings. Upper Scale NeighborHoods, Just everything a town like Indianapolis has to offer. I love to run and I dont care what anyone says this is a good route.
OK I admit it I was wondering about the New Marathon too. But I was not going to be left out of this major event. I registered two day ago. How about some good entertainment Organizers? Lets Party Indianapolis we have everything a major town has to offer. This will help bring the Superbowl to Indianapolis.

Hoosier = dumb f***.
I think your post is proof.
I LOVE INDIANAPOLIS. We can do this Indianapolis. Let's make this city the best city in the midwest or the nation for marathons. The Colts have already proven Indianapolis is better than Chicago. So let's all try to meet the organizers and demand that this race be the best Indianapolis has to offer or let's take it over and make it happen. Now it's time for another cold one. Get those camera's rolling and capture some pic.s of those hot babes in Indianapolis.
Methinks that post had a satirical tone to it.
Hey how about a cold one Indy?
This marathon may be a good thing for Indianapolis after all. You guys got me cranked. I just registered for the full marathon. I didn't think I'd be up to running this New Marathon this year,but after going to their site I think I'll try it. I just want to say be able to say I ran a full Marathon.
This GREAT marathon is going to be SOOOOOOOOOOOOO awesome, guys! If we just Focus all our positive thoughts and prayers with the organizers and Smile at our neighbors and raise Glasses in cheerful salutes then nothing, NOT A THING can stop us! Indianapolis so deserves this, the world will Finally sit up and take notice that Indy is a force To be reckoned with, we Won't be Denied! God Bless Indianapolis! (God bless america, Too, just bless Indianapolis First!)
I forgot To add, I registered for the marathon Yesterday. I registered For the 5K mile today. I'll be registering for the 13.1 marathon Tomorrow. Tell all your neighbors To join you and Do the Same and wel'l make a hit of This yet!
After reading all these posts, I got really excited! Indianapolis is a great town with so much to offer. I'll admit it, I splooged all over my laptop in pure ecstasy because this is so thrilling and what I've been waiting for. Without even cleaning up, I went straight to the site and registered, not once, but 5 times. This San Diegoan wants to see their numbers exceed 40,000 even though they don't have a snowball's chance in hell, not even if I signed-up 10,000 times! I'm still signing up 5 more times tomorrow and then again the next day, tho!
In another week, my computer may no longer work, but I'll still be STD-free, baby! Rock on Indy Marathon!
You know, I also would like to see a good marathon in Indianapolis. Not trying to knock the Indy marathon that is currently held in October. In fact, I very much like the half marathon that they hold in the fall that is a part of the October Indy marathon. The marathon course is pretty could be improved a little and more imporatantly promoted a bit more and it would definitely grow. The way the "classic" marathon is being brought in appears to be attempting to generate enough funds to get off the ground. The timing makes it a little suspect. There is a new half marathon in early September in Bloomington, and then this also in the heat of September. Obviously, if this thing gets legs and takes off, the race director will try to migrate it toward a more favorable time of year and pinch off the current Indy marathon in October. It just seems like the organizers might get together and think what makes sense for the runners and the city. Ideally the Spring Half (MINI) marathon sprout a whole marathon, since it already has the numbers, and the October marathon promote itself a bit more and the September classic disappear.
If Indy Classic have close to 10.000 runners they must be promoting somewhere. And based on the talk around town in the running community, the word is out. Maybe they tried skywriting at night. Because quite a few WISE QWLS have told me about this event. The Lawrence Marathon would do itself a world of good if it realizes what city it's in. They actually help promote Indianapolis and when the runners actually find out it's location they are turned off. I have said for years this is why they cannot grow the numbers.

I dont care what any of you BOZOS says, I can make my own decision to what race I will run. And I think many other readers feel the same way.
At a slowski pace no doubt, since it'll be your first.

Really? Show me one thread you've ever posted in before this one. And if WeJo posted saying he tracked down several of you to the same IP, then YOU would be the liar. If they ARE all different people, you all went to the same grammar school and learned the same types of mistakes.
Again- You are a Creep
