Well, before I get involved in this conversation(stupidest one ever on Letsrun by the way), I'd like to say this.
WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE?
While I may not agree with the comments he made, at the end of the day everyone is entitled to their own opinion, however racist it may be(In my opinion).
If you don't agree with his comments, there's absolutely nothing you can do about it. He feels that way, and chances are nothing will change that.
I personally don't agree with his statements. He comes across as someone who will cry when his record is broken by the better athlete. Which Lagat is. And no amount of arguing will change that.
The worst thing about the argument pose by people on this thread is that they are so hypocritical it's disturbing. I am almost sure of it that when Lagat runs in an American uniform, he will be getting cheered on by 99.9999% of you morons. And if you don't cheer him on, that shows how moronic you are(In my opinion).
We're talking about running here. It's not a matter of life and death. And that statement is coming from someone who would literally cry if he got injured and couldn't run.
