Real men do the following:
1) Love their wives (that would be 1 wife per man)
2) Love their children
3) Provide for their families (this could be as a stay at home Dad by the way while the wife makes money)
4) Provide a loving and nurturing environment for their children which allows them to excel in school and extracurriculars
1) I have 67 wifes! (only with one at a time)
2) I love all 133 of my children
3) They are all signed up for welfare (I help them sign up for it)
4) We live in Flagpole's neighborhood!
curious,
No. Interestingly I do of course have 2 children (I'm not going to create a definition of a man that I don't cover!).
Flagpole came from my original name of Flagpole Willy which honestly was derived in this way - Flagpole as in "run this idea up the flagpole", and Willy, a reference to Bill Clinton, as I did vote twice for the man.
After being made to face the fact that Flagpole Willy has a sexual connotation, I decided to change the name to Flagpole, because no sexual connotation was intended. Certainly, as JEH has said, Flagpole might still be considered to have that connotation by some, but I think you have to really stretch your mind to come up with that one, and it isn't intended.
I am simply Flagpole.
real man,
Kind of funny, but not knee-slapping funny.
1) 1 wife per man, means just that - you can't have 67 wives.
2) If you have 133 children, you can't spend enough time with all of them, so you are a bad father so you are not a man.
3) You cannot be a man while SUBSISTING on welfare. You can be a man and use welfare as a handup when you need it as long as your eyes and actions are on the very soon-to-be goal of having a job that clothes and feeds those children and yourself.
4) If you live in my neighborhood then you have a very good chance at providing a loving nurturing environment, but the neighborhood alone is not enough - the main environment is the atmosphere you create with your wife (or husband) for your children.

Not to mention grammar lessons! Hmmm, must be a left-brain, right-brain thing!
arentchoo dead?
I agree with everything that Flagpole has said... except he is too lenient.
You need 3 kids to be considered a real man.
Ayn, Oldguy could run mental circles around you. It's Ok... this is one reason why I don't often mention others' grammar, and I think it was a humorous effort on his part. A little too dry for you, I see.
I'm a girl too. NOT!

Well then I'm creating a new definition.
1) The more wives the more of a man you are;
2) We have group picnics every weekend (maybe you've seen us at the park);
3) I'm not on welfare, only my wives are. My goal is to be President of the United States and bomb the President of France (or China or Vietnam);
4) I nurtute my kids by making sure my wives make them plenty of peanut butter and jam sandwiches and we have pictures of Abraham Lincoln, Malcolm X, and Bill Clinton in the dining room right next to the pictures of Jesus and Monica Lewinsky.
Real - having verifiable existence
Man - a human being regardless of sex or age, a person
real man,
Pretty funny, but we all know who's definition is really more right on the money and who's the joke is. Good show nonetheless.
FlagpoleInChina,
Wow! Somehow I hopped on a plane and ended up in China. I don't think I can keep up with Jason on training runs though, and hookers aren't my bag baby, so what ever will I do? Guess I'll head home.
I actually have no idea what you are trying to say.
You know how I feel. For you are me, and I am you. Both real and unreal.
Hi calbear!!
creepy...

Definition = right on the money at least 131 more times (but who's counting).
My wife posts here and has plenty of personal experience as a competitive runner and coach. She is very willing to help other runners with practical tips. Whenever I need feedback, I ask her to share her opinion with me so that I can eliminate the extraneous and get down to the heart of the matter. Tinman
theres only 2 women poster, the rest are tranzies...

I am also a female (occassional) poster. Also annoyed with the "hot chicks" threads and other b.s., but usually searching for meet results or other running news posted here. Keep it up ladies!
