There is nothing new to add apart from none of you people have yet to turn up and run with Nick. It's the weekend now so where are your excuses?

I have to add that this is really affecting Nick , mentally and physically. If you really want to see what he is truly made of them let him continue to run without any more abuse or slander. Run with him as repeatedly requested and post up evidence of your time with him. I think repeatedly bashing him is cowardly and to call his past childhood into question is a dreadful thing to do to someone who has suffered so much.

Nick is suffering in this run, of that there is no doubt, making him suffer more with posts like many of you have done is terrible and you should be ashamed.

This is too much. So Nick also has a sob story childhood like Rob Young now. I suspect you are Nick himself or an extremely good troll.

who was proved to be a fake and there was a similar situation with times. Maybe an extreme case but if you have to ask why his pb's matter then you don't sound like a runner

I'm undecided at the moment but you mentioned times when he was younger. Well he was 13 in 2002. All his times would be on athlinks. You make out like he is 50.

Date and name of race and I can do my best to locate it even if not on the internet.

The long course tri bronze surely would be on the internet - if the race even existed.

Further questions arise why no record of formal ultra runs on athlinks? I've seen menton of him doing 5 min miles on his FB page during his ultra run. But somehow he can't crack 6 min miles in a 5k.

You have no credibility here because you have no post history and your posts are just a bit far out there. Maybe if you tell us how you know all these things about Nick then you can build some credibility.

Have you not read a single thing we have responded to you? How can people go to America and run with him when they don't LIVE in America, and what would doing a run with him prove?

We know he can do marathons of about 3:30, (lying he was far faster) so doing a run with him doesn't prove he can run marathons every day for months.

We have every right to question these things-

I repeat yet again, why did he got given 41 grand for this holiday yet has raised hardly anything for charity?

Why did he lie about doing 314 marathons?

Why did he lie about all his official marathon times?

How is asking THAT "abuse and slander." Where is the abuse? Where is the slander?

It was HIM that told us lies about 314 marathons. Why is it so terrible and making him "suffer" to simply ask WHERE these marathons were?

He's NOT "suffering". He's on a funded luxury holiday walking 26 miles then chilling in a nice hotel.

How is THAT suffering?

There's nothing anywhere about his childhood, and no-one cars anyway.

To begin with he was writing very like Nick himself when i spoke to him on Facebook. Trying to avoid the questions and being vague.

But now I think this has to be a troll who knows everything about the Rob Young thread.

So although it has been a useful troll in bumping the thread , I say ignore CoachMike as he's being a copy CoachKev troll

Coach Mike, I'm going to assume you are genuine. Also I am going to assume you are close to Nick's team.

I'm of the 'innocent till proven guilty' camp. On other threads I've pushed for hard evidence of cheating , not just gut feeling evidence. The Spirit Runner from India - or whatever he was called - is a classic example. I'm still prepared to give Nick the benefit of the doubt but he is really skating on thin ice.

On page 7 of this thread I commented on the return on investment aspect of this campaign. The amount raised for charity versus the cost of the venture. Those comments still stand. Unless he has some strategy to ratchet up the charity donations this could seriously backfire on him. A lot of the cheats, frauds and scam artists that have been exposed on letsrun have been picked up by the press. Our Indian buddy above made the Indian papers through letsrun.

As of this morning the money raised is:

Go Fund Me: £41,738

Just Giving: £11,540

Surely this must be a big concern for Nick.

Race results?

Just once it would be nice to see someone do a challenge like this and make just a tiny bit of effort to make it look like something other than them ticking off a personal bucket list and making it sound like they're being generous and thinking of the kids.

As for rocking the ultra world ... Yeah Kilian is probably quaking in his S-Lab's

If really the primary goal of this venture is prostate cancer awareness and charity, his journey to do so is amazingly cost inefficient. Traveling to most countries is and will be very expensive even with people potentially volunteering their homes for a night or two to cut costs. (I like the “you have to meet him at the airport” angle to host him). What would be the difference if he moved to San Antonio for a year and did 196 “I ran Marathons”? I doubt anyone in say Kazakhstan will care about his charity cause and motivation if when he goes there for example.

Jogging or even half walking a 5 hr marathon every 3rd day or so is not that impressive a feat. There are seemingly ample rest days, no time goals, and no obligation to run mega miles. Breaking 3hr or 3:15 in all of them or something like that would be notable.

Someone has seen the obvious parallels to the Rob Young saga and is trolling this thread. Once this bloke deleted posts asking about his fictitious race history the game was up if it wasn't already given his laughable Power of 10 history

Should I organise a gofundme so I can go and run with him? Same with most people on here they are unlikely to live near the runs.

How about answering specific questions such as knocking 20 mins off his Paris Marathon time among others or lack of any evidence of his 300 plus marathons.

Without this there is no trust about what he is doing now.

Even if he said ok I exagerratted a bit to build my profile. Some honesty would go a long way.
