Perhaps this has already been discussed and I missed it--why is Kent Pecora not running XC for Dickinson this year? He was All-American in the steeple and ran 9:04 last spring.

I heard that they have been hiding a 9:10 3200 freshman away all year waiting to unveil them at regionals.

I have inside information that Messiah bagged the MAC championships (and the whole season for that matter) to peak for regionals. They're going for the win. Watch out!!
I heard they have been saving 7 sub 14 5k freshman, Meb and Jesus
So what were the conditions of the Gettysburg course last Saturday? What was up with all the abnormally slow times. I realize there probably was some mud but no more than the Gburg invite, right?
I'd say the top 4 teams for the men are a pretty solid bet, unless something crazy happens. As goes 5- 9, you have to think that etown leads that pack, but if the messiah 4 -5 men can run under 26:15, they'll have a great shot to snag 5th. Gettysburg, JHU, and Susquehanna will be right up there, especially gettysburg with that pack.
How does CMU have such good teams year-in,, year-out. What kind of runners (times?) were these kids in HS?
16:30
9:50s

That's the most ridiculous thing I have ever read. Meb does not have eligibility....
I heard through the grape vine that one of their seniors played an injury and will show up on the line at regionals in sub 26 shape
i love men and etown
Hopkins, Gettysburg, and Susq are washed up
Individual champion Eddie Penetar!!!
Not sure how feasible expecting Messiah's 4-5 to get under 26:15 is. Their 4th and 5th placed 17th and 22nd at MACs. Do you really think that sets them up for a 26:15 type performance?

Abroad. He'll be back.
A little rain never hurt anyone. Who cares about Ida?? I heard that the swine flu has taken down half the roster of all the top 7 teams. Maybe this is Salisbury's chance to pull an upset???

To bad for them that their entire varsity squad got hit with the swine flu, the avian flu, mad cow disease, SARS, and the bubonic plague all at the same time.
