i think the front page should be more organized....its very cluttered in its current form, like have boxes by date or something....i mean its very easy to find current news, but I think it just looks sloppy from an objective pt of view

I like boards with the edit function just because it allows for some humorous pranks. Type a post knowing what response you'll get, wait for the response, and then go back and edit the original post to make the response sound ridiculous. I can't think of a specific example at the moment, but the edit function provides a good setup for such jokes.

I would like to see adherence to the proper use of English language, grammar, and spelling on the homepage. Your failure to meet the most basic standards of communication is embarrassing not only for you, but the entire running community.
How about more interviews like flotrack and workout sessions with people.
I think if you do that wejo this site will be near perfect. Definitely more videos of elite runners
Make some damn T-shirts.

How about a sex/relationship advice forum separate from the running one; seems like about 3/4 the posts relate to sex or lack thereof anyways. Cheers
NOOOO! That's the reason I don't go to other forums that pertain to my work as a pianist - because they separate the "legit" questions about music from any other topics. BORING!
As for icons - the only one you'd need on LR is a happy face giving the finger.
How about a page that lists upcoming TV and Internet broadcasts of meets. You could program it so that Letsrunners could update it if they know of something not listed.
Don't change the message board! Well, maybe get some less anal moderators.
-new look for the front page, just to shake it up
-keep going with the video links on the front page
-some more original writing, interviews, etc. would be cool--think Kenny Moore's Best Efforts
-a running research section; not just JK stuff
-less strange, random monitoring/deleting by message board monitors
-A Day in the life of... section
A sway to change away from the annoying yellow color scheme in the forum.
Make it required to actually have an account to post on the message board. That would help cut down on the number of anonymous posters who post inflammatory or juvenile stuff, etc.
Three different message board forum:
Running
Non-Running
Rupp/Webb trashing (this might crash every so often)
seriously though - The ONLY thing that'd be a bit better would be RSS feeds - but nothing too complacated - just RSS feeds in the following categories when you post something new:
HS
College
Pro
Other Sports
Non-athletic related
Don't change ANYTHING else!!!!!!
More discussion on various running surfaces.
Show more naked chicks
Like have a babe of the day picture or something
A user-friendly and effective way to:
(1) access old articles
(2) search the message board for specific topics
This site has so much excellent content.
Honestly, I love it.
Maybe some soft porn options?
video of races. X-c, track, roads
MORE 430MILER~!
START PAYING HIM OR SOMETHING TO POST MORE.

Let's see you compile a list of blatant grammar and spelling mistakes from the home page. You won't find many. There used to be a lot of them, but there aren't many these days.
