No, Ken it is not my first post. If you knew how this running site works, then you would know that.

People who don't like you are not automatically friends of Mike. You have some major issues. You need help. I think the mods would be doing you a favor by banning you.

This is not a crusade against evil. It is calling out a marathon cheat. Nothing more, nothing less. The dealings with your business have nothing to doing with running. Hey Ken, I hate to have to say it so directly but everyone here pretty much hates your guts.

I don't hate Ken. I think there is an element of revenge for him against Mike, and I think that is understandable. But this is not the place for that...many other social media sites would be more effective.I'd like for Ken to start a program like couch-to-5k and do a race. I think if he channeled his focus on this positive thing he would surprise no one more then himself. And be a far better runner than cheater Mike Rossi regardless of times.

I have been losing weight. I'm at 270 now. I've lost 30 pounds since the beginning of the summer and exercise regularly. But I won't be running anytime soon. It's just not something I would enjoy. But you can count on me being in better shape than Mike by the end of the year.

I hope what you say is true. That would be great. Keep exercising and watching what you eat. Maybe, by next spring you'll start running or buy a bike.

The other best thing you can do is to let this thing drop. Don't worry, there are many others who will remind MR everyday about his cheating and overall douchiness.

Leave Ken alone. Sure he is obnoxious, overweight and obsessive. Sure he believes in the first amendment rights of confederate flag people and that Nazis were people too. Sure he is not a runner and may not know fartleks or lydiard. Sure he may not understand the internet or search algorithms and he may occasionally stalk someone's wife on Facebook and in real life at a commute train station. And he may harbor a lot, I mean a lot, of pain anger and jealousy and hurt from being a failure at marriage, work, school and sports. But you know he has found a way to cope and a focus for his energy. 

Ken sees good and bad in the world and he is a little guy, maybe not physically, but emotionally and intellectually and he stands up to bullies even though he knows he is going to get crushed. 

A lot of us on this board cannot understand what it is to go through life never being successful at much of anything and always being damn near last even though you give your best. Most of this board has won a race, made a high school team, walked on to a college team or earned a scholarship or more. Ken will never have that. Yet he persists. 

Despite everyone on this board attacking him pleading with him and trying to persuade him, he fights on and matches to his own drum. 

In high schools across America guys like Rossi dominate guys like Ken without even trying to or meaning to. Ken is the guy in high school Boone remembers. The guy that doesn't even get a character in a john Hughes film like Breakfast Club. He is not even king of the nerds. A guy like Ken leads life never knowing when his girl or wife will wake up and leave him for another guy or gal. He spends his life knowing his child will be better than he is just by default and sees that look in their eyes all too early that he is no longer a superhero to his kid. That his kid will never tell another kid on the playground my dad can beat your dad at anything. Yet Ken fights on through life and persists. 

Maybe I am wrong but I feel like ingot to know Ken in this thread and he is a guy who should cheat. He'll I'd understand it he needs to cheat to win anything. But as far as I can see he doesn't. He may be dumb fat and crazy - sorry Ken just calling it like t is - but he stands for his beliefs mans defends them. He defends the little people. And he doesn't back down or cheat. Honestly he is an admirable little somuvabitxh. He may be like a pitbull or terrier that closes his eyes once he locks his jaw and yeah he may be wrong a lot of the time and about a lot of things. But he is who he is and he is true to himself. 

I do not know if Ken will understand or appreciate what I am saying, odds are he will get confused or hurt, but I admire that little sonuvagun. 

I'm not sure if this is serious or a joke. But some is true and some is way off.

I'm the guy who trusts people, gets screwed over, swears he'll never trust anybody ever again, and then gets screwed over again for being too trusting. I stayed in a six year marriage with my second wife even though it really over after two years. I did so simply because she was a horrible mother and I cared more for her son with ADHD than she did. So yeah, sometimes I care too much and maybe for reasons I shouldn't.

Paul and I have met and he'll tell you that I'm fairly normal. I've never had my IQ tested but Im fairly intelligent and keep informed regarding news and politics.

I normally don't take up causes, but because I date a high school math/science teacher and my son was bullied in school a couple years ago this issue with the principal really hit home with me. What Mike did to that school principal was the epitome of douchebaggery.

And cheating to get into Boston pisses me off as well. Just because I don't run doesn't mean I don't appreciate all the hard work that athletes put into being great. I was an all-star pitcher when I was in my teens so it's not like I'm some video geek who with no athletic ability. And knowing that runners come from all over the world to run Boston and this jackass took somebody's place.

I'm not crazy. But I'm also not afraid of Mike Rossi.

Maybe he doesn't get DQ'd. But I know I next time I see him at a wedding (which is almost inevitable), I can sit there and laugh at him. Because we'll both know that I'm the better man, and the better father.
