I agree with most of your statement above, but Will Leer being at a d1 level is not what made him superior to Sigl. While Leer certainly is d1 level, even National Caliber level, he is not the only one. Sigl, without a doubt, is a d1 caliber level. In fact, anybody who runs under Provo times is at the d1 level. d1 level, in itself, does not mean much. There are hundereds, maybe even thoussands, of d1 runners, who wouldn't qulaify for National at the d3 level. There are plenty of d1 runners who toot their horns around their hometowns about having run d1, but many of them would fail to even make the Varsity squad of some of the better d3 schools. I am not trying to rip into your post, I am simply trying to point out that Sigl, just like Leer, would be a solid d1 runner.
